The Family Centered Treatment Therapist- Licensed provides quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilizing the Family Centered Treatment model.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Clinical Services as per the service definition and model fidelity requirements.
FCT Certification is required and must be completed within one year of employment in order to continue to provide FCT services and maintain employment with Health Connect America (HCA).
Complete FCT Checkoffs and other internal training within designated deadlines. Trainings are assigned and monitored through an e-learning system.
Deliver FCT clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families, primarily in their living environments, with a family focus.
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage to a caseload of families and children. Service is regularly provided in the home and community and will require service provision at the convenience of the child and family requiring a flexible work schedule.
Complete all required Clinical Records and FCT documents with the child and family and ensure the documents are entered/uploaded timely in the Electronic Health Record, according to company standards.
Develop Service Plan in coordination with Treatment Team Process and maintain the plan per designated authorization processes in the clinician's area of service. Work collaboratively on behalf of the child and family with the identified Treatment Team members to ensure effective communication and coordinated service provision.
Provide psychoeducation as indicated in the Service Plan.
Conduct interventions with the family aligned with the FCT model to include facilitating the movement of the child and family through the four phases of treatment and completing all fidelity documents.
Assist the families and children to establish weekly goals and help them to identify the steps that need to be taken to reach the established goals.
Develop and coordinate discharge plan based on treatment, indicating all relevant aftercare needs and plans. Access community resources that would be beneficial to client aftercare needs.
Coordinate and oversee the initial and ongoing assessment activities.
Convene the Treatment Team for Service Plan.
Consult with identified medical (e.g., primary care and psychiatric) and non-medical (e.g., Dept. of Child Services, school, Dept. of Juvenile Justice) providers; engage community and natural supports and include their input in the person-centered planning process.
Provide and coordinate behavioral health services and other interventions for the youth or other family members with other behavioral health professionals and Treatment Team members.
As a licensed clinician working for Health Connect America your NPI number will be used to bill for services performed by those being supervised by you.
As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that your credentials remain current, you comply with all training requirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
Must hold a current professional license in state where services are provided including LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or one of the state-specific licenses listed below.
Additional State-Specific Licensure Qualifications:
Alabama - ALC
Florida - LMHC
North Carolina - LCMHC
South Carolina - LISW-CP, LPCC, or LMFT-S
Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.

Day (United States of America) Job Summary: In developing the infrastructure for a robust program that supports the health and well-being of our clinical workforce (physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical residents, etc.), the Senior Clinician Well-Being Consultant is a critical team member supporting the Office of Clinician Well-Being (OCW). Reporting to the Director of Operations for the OCW, the Senior Clinician Well-Being Consultant will have a clinical background in counseling or psychology that can be leveraged to support OCW aims and will work directly with medical residents in a consulting and support capacity and will lead and/or support larger team initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of clinicians. The Consultant serves as a trusted resource and advocate for clinicians, offering individualized support, facilitating well-being interventions, and contributing to strategic initiatives that promote resilience and reduce burnout. This role requires clinical training, knowledge, and insights, as well as strong interpersonal skills, fluency in medical culture, and a deep understanding of the psychological and systemic factors that impact clinician well-being. The Consultant will also contribute to educational programming, research, and quality improvement efforts that advance the science and practice of clinician well-being across the organization. While (s)he will help the OCW meet the broad needs of Wellstar clinicians, the Consultant should have a particular passion and understanding of how to help medical residents adjust to the demands of medical training, responsibilities associated with their new role, etc. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Clinician Support Collaborates with OCW psychologist(s) to review Comprehensive Well-Being Panels to support interventions for individual clinicians as well as teams. Helps to develop care pathways to support Wellstar clinicians in preventing occupational burnout and/or intervening to manage/mitigate occupational burnout. Supports OCW clinician retreats, including data interpretation, provision of 1:1 feedback, and post-retreat follow-up, as needed. Participates in the Clinician Support on-call schedule to triage needs and help connect clinicians with needed coaching and/or connection to quality mentalhealth resources, as needed. Leads or assists in leading initiatives that fall under the AMAs Joy in Medicine Support pillar (e.g., coaching, in-basket cross coverage, removing stigmatizing credentialing language). Is able to show efficacy and outcomes of support initiatives. Conducts 1-1 consults with clinicians to make appropriate support recommendations and follows up as needed. Other Responsibilities Work closely with the Graduate Medical Education (GME) training directors to develop resident-specific programming to mitigate the stress associated with training, cultural adjustments, managing work-life responsibilities, etc. Partners with other members of the OCW to develop processes to routinize the assessment of well-being among Wellstar residents and other clinicians. Partners with the Wellstar Resident Well-Being Council to identify upstream methods to reduce work-related stress and advocates for resources for residents as needed. Participates in clinician well-being councils; OCW research, strategy, and operational meetings; team events (e.g., retreats, camaraderie) and other team forums to carry out departmental priorities. Collaborates with the OCW Clinician Psychologist(s), Peer Support Program Manager, other members of the OCW team, and clinical leadership (e.g., residency directors) on initiatives aimed at improving clinician well-being. Education/Didactics Offers Grand Rounds on topics that highlight research related to medical resident well-being throughout the course of the year. Gives presentations on a range of well-being topics to a clinical audience, locally, nationally, and/or internationally. Socializes well-being science through participation in podcasts, clinician well-being newsletter spotlights, etc. Provides guest lectures to medical residents and on request from other Wellstar departments. Research/Quality Improvement Assists with novel translational research and quality improvement (QI) initiatives, which aim to scientize the field of well-being and develop high-impact initiatives that enable purposeful contributions for Wellstar clinicians. Conduct street and community outreach during working hours, including some nights and weekends as needed.

Distribute preventive materials including safe sex kits, condoms, and flyers.

Ensure all certifications required for your position remain active and that updated copies are submitted for your employee file.

Position Overview:
Broadstep Behavioral Health is actively seeking a Therapist in the Kingstree, SC. This position provides MentalHealth and Substance Abuse treatment to children and adolescents in a residential treatment facility. The Therapist will conduct biopsychosocial and other assessments, develop treatment plans, and conduct individual and group therapy sessions. Therapists will also participate in person centered planning meetings. In addition, this position will support the Program Manager in accomplishing all therapeutic tasks of that position.

All South Carolina programs offer highly individualized treatment provided by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, therapists and direct support professionals. South Carolina offers a continuum of services to meet individual needs and is CARF accredited.

Schedule & Location: Full-time, 8am-5pm (flexible), located in Kingstree, SC.
Job Type: This is a fully onsite role that is not eligible for remote work.
Job Duties:
Complete assessments upon admission and annually (more often as needed).
Attending quarterly Person-Centered Planning Meetings for each individual on their caseload.
Develop Individual Program Plan (treatment plan) with the individual served.
Conduct Individual and Group therapy.
Complete daily documentation in Therap
Participate in screening of individuals referred to the program.
Attend any court appointments with the individual.
In conjunction with attending Case Manager, develop and implement therapeutic schedules to meet the needs of the individuals in the program.
Provide guidance and supervision to Case Management and Direct Support Professional.
On call for behavioral and administrative issues as they arise.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Indirectly supervises Case Management and Direct Support Providers employees within the residential department(s).
Minimum Required Education/License/Credentials:
Master's Degree (MA) in counseling, Social Work, or relative MentalHealth field from an accredited college or university.
Licensees (not required but preferred) must possess a LPC/LPC-A, LMSW, or LISW.
Other Requirements:
One (1) years' experience providing clinical services in a MentalHealth environment and experience in crisis intervention is desired.
Possess a valid, regular (non-probationary) state driver's license if the individual will be driving either their personal vehicle for on-the-job purposes or any agency vehicles.
Successful clearance of local and state background checks, post-offer drug screening and physical; and
Must have strong organizational and management skills.

As a Therapist within our Health Care Services team in Huntsville/Madison, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families through various mentalhealth challenges. Conduct specialty groups that are relevant to addiction treatment.
Perform conjoint family counseling, integrating a complete understanding of the underlying dynamics of codependency and the effects of addiction of families.
Conduct basic education lectures and presentations relevant to addiction treatment.
Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients' needs and concerns.

Supervise Case Manager's administration of the treatment plan and care plan as well as the management of documentation.
Advocate for the youth in the school system by clinically leading meetings at the school for safety planning, behavioral interventions, etc. where relevant and applicable.

Provide training and consultation to the community as needed.

Supervision responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide quality direct behavioral healthcare to patients and family members
Provides/ conducts psychosocial assessments and screening to assists the patient in utilizing the support systems and community resources available
Provide crisis intervention services to patients as needed
Provide brief counseling support to identified patients
Support the medical treatment plan to support patients with improving their chronic health conditions
Demonstrates critical thinking skills by performing appropriate interventions
Identifies the impact of cultural diversity and lifestyle choices on patient condition and makes accommodations for such differences
Assess, plan and implement individualized treatment plans for patients engaged in behavioral health services
Build and maintain relationships with caregivers and healthcare providers to support patients in addressing the physical and psycho-social barriers to optimal outcomes.
Identify any impediments to patients' progress and advocate for patients and families as needed.
Meet with individuals to discuss current needs and create plans to address needs
Utilizes knowledge and required skills to ensure appropriate assessments
Consult and plan meetings with other professionals regarding patient's treatment services
Prepare and maintain records within EHR
Maintain an up-to-date referral system
Contributes to optimal efficiency and productivity of the clinical care team by anticipating needs of patient and communicating with medical provider regarding patient care
Provided clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians as needed

Education and Experience
Minimum of LCSW License to practice in North Carolina
Experience working with a Medicaid population is preferred
Experience with working with a population that seeks challenges with social determinants of health, including mentalhealth and substance abuse.
