Responsibilities Informatics/System Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Assist clinical end users and clinical leaders to design, implement and evaluate solutions to optimize efficient use of clinical technology applications. Collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate clinical or information systems data and trends to improve patient care and clinician satisfaction through clinical technology applications. Education/Rounding: Partner with clinical and technical educators in development and review of education relevant to clinical technology applications. Actively solicit end-user feedback on clinical technology applications. Performance Improvement/ Quality & Safety: Assist with UC Health improvement projects, initiatives, and activities as they relate to clinical informatics. Participate in organizational SOP and policy reviews and revisions as related to use of clinical technology systems. Provide support to ensure organizational compliance with regulatory expectations within supported technology applications. Participate in hospital-wide and system-wide committees as assigned. Professional Development - Pursue personal professional development in the science of clinical informatics. Attend educational offerings relevant to current assignments.
