Prior to IASIS, Whitmer held the CFO, Vice President of Finance and Treasurer positions at PhyCor, Inc., a physician practice and IPA management company, and the senior manager role at KPMG LLP. In addition to serving on the IASIS Healthcare Board of Directors, Whitmer serves on the boards of directors for NorthStar Anesthesia, the Nashville Health Care Council, and the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and as Chair-Elect of the Federation of American Hospitals.
