About the role
We're excited to offer a full-time, temporary opportunity for an enthusiastic, entry-level Fitness Program Manager at our client site in Springfield, MA. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on management experience in the dynamic world of corporate fitness. Responsible for managing and directing all operational aspects of an on-site fitness program ensuring the highest level of participation, results achievement, and customer satisfaction in the delivery of programs and services. Also responsible for contract compliance; development of and adherence to the strategic business plan; staff supervision, training, and development; design and facilitation of a variety of health &fitness programs; and various administrative duties including developing outcomes focused management reports.
Full-time, temporary: 40 hours/week, starting approximately mid-December 2025 through mid March, 2026. Dates subject to change. May start in part-time capacity for training purposes.
Schedule: M-F, combination of opening and midday shifts between the hours of 5:45a - 5p
Location: M-Th this role reports onsite to our client site in Springfield, MA. Fridays are remote/work from home. *Subject to change based on client needs.
What you will be doing:
Manages all program activities in accordance with HealthFitness operational, quality, safety, and service standards.
Develops and implements the yearly strategic business plan to identify contract deliverables, program/ service offerings and initiatives, targeted outcomes, and marketing strategy to meet client objectives. Prepares and manages operating budget. Ensures expenditures are made in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
May leads regular individual and group staff meetings to ensure associates are informed about HealthFitness, client and program events, initiatives, and status.
Ensures contract compliance. Manages client relationship to ensure that high customer satisfaction is maintained and HealthFitness value is reinforced.
Directs the implementation of individual and group fitness programs, health education activities, motivational programs, and special events; coordinates marketing and communications to maximize program engagement, bringing in HealthFitness Corporate support as appropriate.
Tracks participant and program data for measurement of individual and program goal achievement, outcomes, and results; creates outcomes focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives. Manages all record and data management activities at the worksite, ensuring the proper storage, retention, and confidentiality all data collected in accordance with HealthFitness requirements.
Conducts informal safety checks daily and performs routine safety audits on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis in accordance with HealthFitness guidelines.
Performs staff responsibilities as appropriate including floor supervision, fitness testing, exercise prescription, new member facility and equipment orientations, personal training, and group exercise class instruction. Verifies equipment is well maintained and operating properly; ensures locker rooms are clean and stocked, and coordinates prompt resolution to facility related issues.
In conjunction with Director Program Management & Engagement, introduces new HealthFitness programs, products, and services to the client.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related degree.
2+ years' related industry experience.
Current Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Institute, or American Safety & Health Institute required by start date. (Note: certification must have an in-person component and not 100% online/OSHA compliant).
Ability to lead, manage and operate a fitness center.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including at minimum Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Compensation: $23 - $28/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.

Job Summary
The Manager Quality Trauma Surgery Program provides leadership and operational support for the St. Vincent's Medical Center (SVMC) Trauma Program's (TP) development, implementation, and assessment to ensure an organized, effective, and efficient quality-focused, approach to providing high-quality trauma care. This position provides multiple services to include the coordination of TP initiatives between Trauma Program leaders, faculty, and HHC facilities, which includes clinical, educational, and research initiative collaboration and information sharing as relevant.
This position's continuum of involvement spans departmental, inter-hospital, system, community, state, and national interventions. In addition, this role involves frequent interaction and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across the HHC System and non-HHC facilities at a variety of professional and clinical levels with an emphasis on high-quality customer service.
This position reports to Director of Clinical Operations, Inpatient Surgery with a substantial dyad of accountability to the Trauma Program Medical Director.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
1. Promotes and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the trauma program to achieve its strategic vision for an integrated system. Establishes collaborative partnerships with all relevant parties characterized by vision, leadership and communication. Oversee and manages Trauma Quality Performance Team consisting of a Performance Improvement Nurse, Trauma Registrars, and Injury Prevention Coordinator. Acts as a departmental representative/collaborator with all Injury Prevention Center initiatives.
2. Champions and leads quality performance improvement/evaluation and patient safety efforts that ensure compliance with hospital/department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Collaborates with other Quality and Safety colleagues/programs to inform planning at the SVMC hospital and System level. Coordinates and manages standing TP meetings, M&Ms, and multi-disciplinary M&M and PIP meetings.
3. Provides leadership in the design and implementation of a systematic process for monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality and effectiveness of trauma patient care. Identifies quality of care issues and brings to closure to ensure quality patient care. Ensures process includes data abstraction and verification, query design, statistical analysis, trending and reporting, to develop data sets into useful information to develop strategies for achieving improved outcomes.
4. Collaborate with and/or supervises appropriate personnel to implement, maintain and administer quality trauma databases and files according to QA protocols, HIPPA standards and legal/risk management laws. Reviews and communicates data to appropriate staff members, regulatory agencies and the national trauma registry to ensure accurate risk-adjusted benchmarking.
5. Develops and implements outcome standards, credentialing standards, policies and procedures and clinical and system process pathways in collaboration with system participants. Provides required feedback to team members in quality improvement committees, health care teams and work group meetings. Works collaboratively with managers, educators, staff and affiliated institutions to coordinate quality improvement and development efforts system wide.
6. Delivers continuous quality improvement development initiatives for providers and staff to forward the mission of the department. Collaborates, develops and supports risk prevention and peer review policy.
7. Identifies and participates in areas for allied health and community education and prevention programs. Participates and collaborates with the Injury Prevention Coordinator.
8. Facilitate problem solving throughout the continuum of care with focus on cost awareness and concern for cost position in system activities. Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as relevant/appropriate.
9. Participate in legislative and professional forums related to trauma/surgery care in order to influence public policy and advocate for the needs of patients. Coordinates and collaborates on educational activities in a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, effectiveness and standards to achieve the mission of the healthcare system.
Qualifications
Licensure, Certification, Registration
· Registered Nurse, Licensed in Connecticut. APRNs and PAs Licensed in CT also applicable
Education
· BS in Nursing required.
· Healthcare Quality and Safety related advanced training or Certificate(s) preferred.
· Master's degree in nursing or related field, or evidence of pursuing on a continuing basis with degree completion within 2 years of job acceptance preferred.
Experience
· Minimum Five (5) years of clinical experience in required areas such trauma care, emergency care, critical care and surgery.
· Trauma Experience or prior/current TPM experience.
· Experience in managing a healthcare related quality and safety program that includes quality management, peer review and program development.

The role
You will be a member of the Enterprise PMO team that supports the planning and execution of transformation programs within Avanos The role will serve as the program leader for high-profile, business-critical projects/programs including, but not limited to, EU MDR Program. In this role, you will work closely with cross functional teams, including regulatory, quality, clinical, R&D and manufacturing to ensure timely and effective program compliance.
This role is hybrid requiring 2-3 days/week in the Alpharetta office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive and execute complex projects/programs with excellence through all project stages (Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing).
Provide overarching leadership of programs that may contain several project workstreams.
Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and mitigating risks
Manage stakeholder and project communication regarding program decisions, direction, and issues (includes updates to leadership, stakeholder alignment on project scope and milestones, and escalation of issues and risks).
Must have the ability to communicate effectively at the C-Suite Level.
Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring project deliverables remain within scope, schedule, and within defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments including marketing, quality, clinical, regulatory, design, human factors, packaging, process development, procurement, etc.
Ability to deep dive into program issues to provide resolution alongside Subject Matter Experts.
Your qualifications
Required:
Experience in medical device program management or similar role, successfully managing EU MDR implementation or related programs

Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in the medical device industry and quality management systems experience; 3+ years of industry experience in project management; regulated medical device experience highly preferred.

What You Will Do
Provides clinical supervision to staff including assigning, monitoring and evaluating cases for clinical team(s). Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings. Provides back-up coverage for program leadership as required.
Manages triage and case assignment procedures, new referrals, liaison activities, and staff scheduling to insure adequate coverage at all times.
Collaborates with other team members and Behavioral Health Services (BHS) leadership in formulating clinical and administrative policies and procedures, preparing policy and procedure manuals, implementing and maintaining established policies and procedures, and proposing modifications and revisions of policies and procedures, as indicated.
Collects, tracks, and monitors progress and outcomes for all staff assigned to the team(s); produces and maintains detailed reports for all data pertinent to the program. Reports relevant data to funders and central administration as needed.
• Oversees the maintenance of updated case records for team(s) through EMR and coordinates effective electronic communication throughout all provider databases, as needed. Maintains case records in accordance with program policies/procedures, as well as VNS Health, city, and state standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitors the program budget and is knowledgeable of all financial aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, reimbursement and purchasing.
Ensures volume and productivity meet program standards and operations.
Oversees compliance of quality and performance indicators, and supervises staff to achieve goals. Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and takes corrective action, as necessary to address deficiencies.
Provides clinical subject matter expertise and serves as a resource to supervisors, clinicians and staff. • Provides assessment, direct services to program participants and families in the community; advises and consults in case conferences, staff meetings, and discharge planning as needed.

The Direct Support Professional, Residential is responsible to provide direct support within a single program or unit within a program, typically supporting 4 - 6 individuals in residential settings, or up to 10 individuals in periodic programs.
The Direct Support Professional, Residential is responsible to provide direct support or assistance in accordance with individual service or program plans that may include socialization, health maintenance, medication administration and skill or behavioral development. The Direct Support Professional, Residential assists with day-to-day activities including personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
The Direct Support Professional, Residential may work fulltime or part-time. The Direct Support Professional, Residential works at the program location and may accompany individuals into the community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
Services and Supports
Direct Support: Provides direct support or assistance in accordance with individual service or program plans; assists with socialization and behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living.
Records: Accurately documents progress and activity; reviews records and logs to stay abreast of changes in service plans; maintains confidentiality; accurately and timely completes billing documentation as applicable.
Management of Individuals' Assets: Assists with money management, as assigned, and assures safety of individuals' funds and property.
Relationships: Maintains healthy and professional relationships with individuals, friends, families, guardians and case managers; greets family members and other visitors; implements Sevita Customer Service Standards.
Reporting: Reports any instance of alleged abuse or neglect according to internal and external standards; reports medical, behavioral and other incidents in accordance with Sevita policy and external requirements.
Rights: Maintains confidentiality, respects the rights of persons being served, according to applicable the bill of rights; practices universal precautions; assists individuals in exercising their rights.
Health Care
Appointments: May accompany individuals to medical appointments; relays orders and information to and from medical providers as required.
Medications: If assigned, accurately administers and documents delivery of medications and treatments; promptly reports administration errors; maintains appropriate security of controlled medications and other medications and supplies.
General Health Care: Monitors individual's health; documents health concerns; communicates with nurse or supervisor as appropriate; calls 911 in the event of emergency; follows individual health care directives.
Medical Supplies and Equipment: Correctly follows procedures in utilizing medical equipment; reports malfunction or disrepair.
Dietary planning: Prepares or supports individuals to prepare food in accordance with planned menus and individual choice; knows special diets and prepares individual meals accordingly; monitors mealtime and correctly implements any dining plans.
Employment Responsibilities:
Training: Attends orientation and on-going training as directed; participates in monthly staff meetings.
Employee Scheduling: Works scheduled hours; arrives for work on time; stays on shift until replacement arrives; notifies supervisor in advance when unable to work as scheduled or as soon as possible after the designated start time; may fill in for other shifts where required without causing unapproved overtime, or in the event of emergency.
Teamwork: Works together with others, values others contributions; is courteous; communicates openly; listens; and shows respect to others.

Housekeeping: Performs daily and seasonal housekeeping as directed; maintains neat, clean and safe environment; reports hazards or safety concerns.
Maintenance and Repair: Monitors environmental safety and may make minor repairs, change light bulbs, etc.; may perform yard maintenance including keeping walkways safe and snow removal; reports equipment or facilities requiring repairs to supervisor or maintenance personnel as required.
Safety: Checks water temperature as required when assisting with bathing; participates in safety drills and protects persons being served in the event of emergency.

SUMMARY
The Program Supervisor is full time and considered a supervisor, non-exempt and paid hourly. The Program Supervisor, Redwood supervises a single program or unit within a program, typically supporting 4-8 individuals in residential settings or 10-15 individuals in periodic, vocational or day programs. Duties are split between the provision of direct support, professional or program activities and supervision. The Program Supervisor provides and over-see services or supports in residential, vocational or in-home settings.
The Program Supervisor is responsible for supervising Direct Support Professionals. In addition, the Program Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the program including delivery of supports, implementation of person-centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, regulatory compliance and when applicable, oversight of the physical environment.
The Program Supervisor generally works 8 to 16 flexible hours per week in a supervisory capacity; and provides direct support for the remaining hours. The Program Supervisor works at the program location and is generally expected to visit each shift and all employees one time per month, including where supervising periodic or hourly services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
Services and Supports
Works regularly scheduled shifts as a direct support professional (see DSP position description).
Documents as required; reviews individual records, billing and other program documentation routinely for accuracy and completion on a daily basis; maintains confidentiality of individual and employee data; directs DSPs to assure accurate and complete records.
Assists the Program Director in development of individual program plans; trains and monitors implementation of plans each day across all shifts.
Attends and assists with routine progress meetings.
Maintains licensing compliance for program services and supports; implements Network compliance plan; manages individual rights implementation.
Management of Individuals' Assets: When assigned, assures safety of individual's funds and property; monitors spending and reconciles individual's financial accounts monthly.
Completes or assists DSPs in documenting incident reports; submits initial incident reports to the Program Director.
Compiles or accumulates census or attendance information; reviews data and attests to accuracy; submits accurate data to the Program Director or appropriate billing authority.
Health Care
Monitors health of persons being served; documents; communicates with medical professionals as appropriate; implements preventive strategies to limit illness and serious incidents; reviews and monitors documentation across all shifts.
When applicable, schedules or assists in scheduling health care appointments; may accompany individuals to appointments; may assist with communication; documents visits; oversees follow through of orders; communicates results as appropriate with families, guardians, case managers, day programs or others.
When applicable, accurately administers and documents delivery of medications and treatments; reviews all other medication documentation for accuracy and completeness, daily or weekly as required; reviews medication errors with employees; communicates medication changes and provides training across all shifts; maintains appropriate security of medications and supplies.
Purchases and maintains medical supplies and equipment in consultation with program director; communicates with employees and may assist with training on proper use.
With the exception of some in-home services, purchases or oversees purchasing of food and supplies in accordance with planned menus and individual choice or need; directs and monitors food service, consistent with individual plans.
Stakeholder Relations:
Maintains productive and professional relations with individuals, families, case managers and other stakeholders.
Implements Network Customer Service Standards; trains DSPs in delivery.
Personnel
Assists with recruitment; interviews and hires direct support professionals with agreement of the Program Director.
Populates and maintains schedule to assure that all shifts are covered, and overtime is minimized.
Assists with onboarding and delivers orientation and ongoing training concerning the individuals served, program plans, policies, procedures and physical environment.
Prepares and conducts annual evaluations for Direct Support Professionals, in consultation with the Program Director.
Discipline and Termination: Coaches employees as needed, correcting or directing employee behavior where required; may remove employees in the event of emergency; may recommend and participate in decisions regarding termination; consults with the Program Director on all matters of discipline.
Employee Safety: Responsible for employee safety and workers' compensation within the program; implements and monitors compliance with safety standards.
May assist with or lead monthly program meetings for direct support professionals; documents monthly meeting agenda and attendance.
Financial Management
When applicable, purchases food and household supplies; purchases office supplies and minor equipment; reviews and attests company credit card statements and monthly invoices; directs employees as necessary; monitors and attests to cost effective, accurate and applicable spending.
Reviews census, attendance information or other required documentation to assure accurate billing; monitors utilization between authorization and provision of services and supports.
Monitors staffing hours for budgetary compliance.
Maintenance
When applicable, test drives vehicle monthly; inspects vehicle lifts and seatbelts monthly; reports safety concerns immediately to supervisor or maintenance personnel; assures vehicle is washed and cleaned; trains staff in safe vehicle operation and safely transporting individuals; insures routine maintenance is performed.
When applicable, schedules and monitors daily and seasonal housekeeping; monitors and implements strategies to assure neat, clean and safe environment; assists with age appropriate and esthetic decoration; oversees lawn and yard care.
When applicable, makes or arranges for minor repairs; reports to and schedules repairs by maintenance personnel as required; monitors environmental safety; monitors water temperature, refrigerator and freezer temperature, and safety alarms and extinguishers on a monthly basis; replaces furnace filters monthly.
Monitors wheel chairs, lifts and other safety equipment; sees that repairs are made promptly and correctly in the event of faulty equipment.
Other
Performs other related duties and activities as required.

What You Will Do
Provides clinical supervision to staff including assigning, monitoring and evaluating cases for clinical team(s). Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings. Provides back-up coverage for program leadership as required.
Manages triage and case assignment procedures, new referrals, liaison activities, and staff scheduling to insure adequate coverage at all times.
Collaborates with other team members and Behavioral Health Services (BHS) leadership in formulating clinical and administrative policies and procedures, preparing policy and procedure manuals, implementing and maintaining established policies and procedures, and proposing modifications and revisions of policies and procedures, as indicated.
Collects, tracks, and monitors progress and outcomes for all staff assigned to the team(s); produces and maintains detailed reports for all data pertinent to the program. Reports relevant data to funders and central administration as needed.
Oversees the maintenance of updated case records for team(s) through EMR and coordinates effective electronic communication throughout all provider databases, as needed. Maintains case records in accordance with program policies/procedures, as well as VNS Health, city, and state standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitors the program budget and is knowledgeable of all financial aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, reimbursement and purchasing.
Ensures volume and productivity meet program standards and operations.
Oversees compliance of quality and performance indicators, and supervises staff to achieve goals. Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and takes corrective action, as necessary to address deficiencies.
Provides clinical subject matter expertise and serves as a resource to supervisors, clinicians and staff.
Provides assessment, direct services to program participants and families in the community; advises and consults in case conferences, staff meetings, and discharge planning as needed.
Promotes positive relationships within VNS Health and other community service organizations. Serves as program liaison to other community agencies, negotiating formal liaison and organizing consultation and education for referral sources.
Participates in 24/7 on-call coverage schedule and performs on-call duties, as required.
Investigates complaints registered by program participants, completes Incident Reports and other safety and quality reports within required time frames.
Collaborates with program leadership and other staff in the development and implementation of in-service education programs.
Performs all duties inherent in a supervisory role. Ensures effective staff training, interviews candidates for employment, evaluates staff performance and recommends hiring, promotions, salary actions, and terminations, as appropriate.
Oversees the development of systems and records for billing each MCO.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
Current registration to practice as a Nurse, Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor or other related license in the State of New York required
For IMT: LCSW or LMHC required
Education:
Master's Degree degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Nursing or other related field required
Work Experience:
Minimum of five years of supervisory and administrative experience with demonstrated competency in program management, budget management, and community relations required Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft applications required
