Job Requirement Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and three (3) years of clinical practice experience as a radiologist. Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology. Some positions may require one or more of the following certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Skill in: Proficient in general diagnostic radiology, ER and acute inpatient cases, with efficiency to be able to read high volumes; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment. The Physician Assistant functions to assist the physician in the delivery of medical care; obtains historical and physical data on patients; interprets and integrates findings to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedure under the supervision and guidance of the physician.
