HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. is offering a full-time, in person, paid Dental Assistant training program which includes both classroom and clinical training thanks to a workforce pipeline fund. Classes offered virtually through CareerStep will prepare a learner to earn a Massachusetts Dental Assistant license. Hands-on training days will provide opportunities for observing as well as learning to prepare for dental procedures, maintaining and updating patient charts, and assisting with dentistry techniques. Participants must commit to 10 weeks of in-person paid course work and a 6-month paid internship to be completed at HealthFirst. Upon acceptance into the program, students will be required to sign a 2-year work commitment.
