Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and accuracy for diagnostic imaging. Assist clinical staff with patient intake, history collection, and record management, ensuring proper documentation in the EHR/EMR system. Provide patients with clear, concise instructions about procedures while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach to care. Maintain accurate and organized records of ultrasound procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. Monitor and maintain ultrasound supplies, ordering replacements as necessary to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and imaging standards, following established protocols and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program. Certification: "Diagnostic Medical Sonography"certification is required. Experience: Previous experience in an Urgent Care or Primary Care setting is preferred but not required. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills; proficiency in medical imaging software and EHR/EMR systems.
