The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents and families. This outreach position is offering a sign-on bonus. The Clinician will be responsible for providing professional mental health services to individuals and families referred to our agency. This includes providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The clinician will also provide crisis intervention, case management and clinical consultation. Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals and families.
Provide crisis intervention services.
Provide support and guidance to individuals and families.
Ensure the safety of all individuals.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners.
Provide case management services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports and documentation.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Mental Health field.
Must be CANS - MA Certified
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with individuals, families, and/or groups.
Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
