Applicant must have excelled as a retail pharmacy technician (no current/ active license or certification needed) having superior comprehension and understanding of medications and prescription processing. Excellent customer service skills, telephone communication, strong attention to detail, and an ability to multi-task are essential. Responsibilities include, reviewing and completing medication refill requests, following standing orders, documenting in an Electronic Health Record, completing prior authorizations, working directly with all staff within the practice(s), patients, and pharmacies to increase adherence and prescribing efficiencies. Proficient computer skills are required. We prefer to hire a person with pharmacy experience, but no license is required.
