**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Armed Police Officer Under the direction of the Security Director or designee, the off duty Armed Police Officer (APO) is responsible for the protection of the facility's assets, people and programs. The APO establishes a positive Security image by being highly visible and vigilant to fire, health and safety hazards as well as criminal threats. The APO takes immediate corrective action on violations and/or deficiencies to minimize the potential for harm. The APO maintains a close working relationship with hospital employees to provide a safe and secure environment.
What you will do in this role:
+ Supports the hospital's safety and security management program in an attempt to provide a safe and secure physical environment.
+ Assists all hospital patients, visitors and employees with dignity and respect and acknowledges their needs in a timely manner.
+ The APO's conduct demonstrates compliance with and reporting of suspected violations of relevant laws, and regulations, the facility's compliance policies and procedures; and HCA's Code of Conduct.
+ Provides preventative patrols in the area in and around the Emergency Department.

What qualifications you will need:
+ Must be a police academy graduate.
+ Must be an employed, sworn and commissioned police officer with the local Police Department.
+ Documentation of ongoing law enforcement training as regulated by the Law Enforcement Agency.
+ Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) certification/training preferred.
+ Only specific department approved firearms, batons and pepper foam by may be carried as duty weapons on HCA property by officers certified to carry the specific weapons.
+ Off duty police officers are allowed to carry as duty service firearms only those caliber firearms that they have successfully completed firearms qualification training with through a department approved program. Under no circumstance shall an off duty police officer be allowed to carry an unauthorized firearm or other unauthorized weapon.
+ Authorized duty holsters must have a minimum Level II retention capability.

+ Triage specimen received from surgery; dictate gross findings on selected specimen using appropriate terminology; refer tissue sections for microscopic review by Pathologist or Resident.
+ Select and identify tissue for microscopic study; determine proper fixative solutions in which tissue will be maintained.
+ Perform specialized procedures such as frozen sections and decalcification; maintain and coordinate specimen and records for specialized procedures using appropriate protocols; submit request for special histological procedures and special stains when appropriate.
+ Maintain records of surgical pathology specimen dissections and dictation; assist in the compilation of reports for surgical pathology; label and store gross tissue specimen.
+ Photograph specimen samples as appropriate for use in instruction and documentation. Perform photo microscopy on cases considered for interdepartmental conferences or for teaching purposes; maintain complete and accurate records of all gross and microscopic photographs.
+ Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
+ EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor's degree required;

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Performs basic security duties and responds to emergency situations.
+ Performs routine daily tasks.
+ Operates a variety of equipment commonly used in the department.
+ Knowledge of operational aspects of computer systems and radio procedures.
+ Conducts interviews and initial investigations of reported incidents.
+ Must quickly take control, remain calm, resolves conflicts, and/or resolve situations in a timely manner.
+ Correct problems identified.
+ Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
+ Must have a proactive approach to problem solving, i.e. addresses issues, problems or behaviors through verbal and nonverbal communication, i.e. maintain respectful and appropriate language and non-defensive body language.
+ Demonstrates a willingness to receive and respond to constructive criticism appropriately.

+ Position will oversee the Armed Police Officers and set team schedules and manage job performance. Position will maintain Officer Office hours and report issues to the department leader.
**What Qualifications You Will Need:**
+ College level course work in police sciences or related field preferred.
+ Must be a commissioned Police Officer with the Overland Park Police Department at time of hire.
+ A minimum of two years Law Enforcement or equivalent or Military Police preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The role of the Director of Physician Services (DPS) I is a strategic leader who oversees and takes ownership of a clinical operations market with less than 50 providers. Provides support to hospital facilities operations management related to physicians, including primary care, specialists, and subspecialists who practice in hospital and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include oversight of the operations, budget, and general management of a portfolio of practices within a defined geographic area or specialty. This individual will have strategic, ongoing communications and interactions with the relevant hospital division from both a strategic and tactical standpoint. Building effective partnerships with hospital and operations team members is integral to success in this role.

* You will develop, implement and monitor practice budgets including analyzing financial impact of changes and forecasts, and expenditures. Recommends corrective action as required

What qualifications you will need:
* Bachelor's Degree in health or business administration required

* 5+ years of relevant clinical operations experience required
