Sonali Wilborn, MD, MBA is the Chief Medical Officer for Heart of Hospice. Dr. Wilborn is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Care. Throughout her 25 years of practice, Dr. Wilborn has held numerous positions across the industry. Prior to her career with Heart of Hospice, she practiced as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine for eight years and served as the Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center’s Medical Director of Palliative Care Service in Dearborn, Michigan. She then served as a Medical Director for Gentiva Health Services’ Odyssey Hospice, the nation’s largest hospice provider, before later becoming a National Medical Director at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, the largest privately-owned hospice company. Dr. Wilborn also serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Hospitalist and Palliative Medicine, PLLC, a position she’s held since 2009.
