The Director of A&F establishes strong financial management and accountability for including the establishment of effective internal controls. DESCRIPTION To provide crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, brief intervention, linkage to community resources, and screening services in homes, school based and community settings to individuals and groups experiencing behavioral health problems and to manage requests for professional services. The School Based CISC will be responsible to respond to calls from schools and other child/family serving agencies. Work hours may need to be flexible to accommodate school needs. The School Based CISC will be responsible to assess for suicidal/homicidal ideation, provide brief intervention, crisis intervention, and stabilization. Partnering with children/youth, families, and school staff to resolve crises and divert from hospitalization will be a primary responsibility. Referral to necessary community resources, with follow up to ensure completion of referral, will be necessary.
