Pat Bauer is a President and CEO at Heartland Dental.

Executive leader with thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry. Experience with managing the following: commercial software applications, corporate information technology, customer facing call centers and consumer marketing. Primary focus includes financial management, strategic planning, customer support, application development and project governance. Strong interpersonal skills.

Travis started with Heartland Dental in June 2004 as its Executive General Manager and has seen growth throughout the years. Today, as CFO, he supports the initiatives of the payroll, finance, accounts payable and accounting teams. Prior to serving as CFO, Travis served the Company as the Executive Vice President of Development overseeing the Affiliation, Site Selection, Leasing, Construction and Doctor Recruiting Teams. In addition, Travis served as the Chief Investment Officer for the Workman Family Office and its subsidiary companies, Workman Enterprises, LLC, an asset holding company and Professional Resource Development, Inc., a real estate portfolio company, owning 200+ properties in 37 states.

Travis was responsible for reviewing new affiliation and denovo investment opportunities for Heartland Dental and assisted Workman Family Office with various projects from real estate acquisition and development, investment review, and general and strategic financing. Travis is also a co-founder of BT Rentals, LLC, a retail consumer rental franchise and Franklin Real Estate Holdings, LLC, a commercial real estate holding company.

Travis holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Eastern Illinois University where he also received a Bachelors of Science in Business and Economics.

Ashley Budd is a VP, Chief Technology Officer at Heartland Dental and is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has worked as VP, Chief Accounting Officer at Heartland Dental; VP Strategic Planning at Jordan Manufacturing Company; and Senior Manager at EY. Ashley attended Kelley School of Business between 2000 and 2004.

Maria is a tenured global executive and Board Member who has developed and implemented growth strategies and launched and scaled new businesses across start-up to established companies, while providing oversight in her role as a Board Member. From serving as a C-level executive for billion dollar plus public (NYSE; NASDAQ) and private equity sponsored (KKR; Warburg Pincus) companies, to serving as an executive leader driving growth for digital start-ups and as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, Maria’s experience spans the healthcare, financial services, consumer, retail, technology, business services and industrial sectors. In addition to launching and scaling new businesses, products, services and brands, Maria has driven digital transformation, led data science and analytics, managed global consumer brands, guided public company reputation, and has a depth of expertise in strategic planning and performance management and oversight. Maria serves on the Board of Directors at Life Floor, and remains passionate about the environment and sustainability from her time at Interface. With her experience spanning global roles, she has lived and worked in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.
