Key Responsibilities

Summary

This will be a fully remote with travel opportunity that offers a competitive base salary of $75,000 + commission, with top performers capable of earning $250,000+ annually. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Regional SalesDirector is responsible for representing Virtus Investment Partners' full complement of investment offerings, including offshore mutual funds, SMAs and ETFs, to investment professionals and intermediaries (Independents, RIAs and Wirehouses). The Regional SalesDirector engages advisors in several relationship-building activities. These activities include providing technical information on the products they represent and demonstrating a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, financial markets, and industry-related topics. The Regional SalesDirector also acts as a consultant in the areas of practice management and portfolio construction.
This position will be remote and ideally based in Miami, FL.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Represent Virtus as a subject matter expert demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of its offshore mutual funds (UCITS) and separately managed accounts, where available for offshore FAs including underlying investment strategies, rationale for product positioning, drivers of performance and relevant market background.
Develop new relationships and maintain (evolve) existing relationships with advisors.
Lead sales initiatives with intermediaries in a defined territory.
Identify client needs and coordinate efforts to serve assigned intermediaries.
Conduct sales/product training meetings for assigned territories.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.

Evaluate conflict check submissions from engagement teams, resolving issues when possible and escalating complex matters to the Independence and Ethics Compliance Leader or Independence Committee as appropriate
Provide comprehensive support during the investment audit process, including tracking auditee selections, conducting initial evaluations of findings, and escalating significant issues for further review
Monitor independence-related developments from regulatory bodies (such as AICPA, PCAOB, SEC, DOL, and GAO) and assess their impact on firm policies and processes

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $55,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
