Scope: The Production Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates the activities of production and operating workers, such as packers, machine operators, and blenders. The Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and achieving production goals, fostering relationships, promoting Health and Safety and the development of a well-trained and motivated staff. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Enforces safety and sanitation regulations per food safety and quality guidelines. Responsible for initiating appropriate actions that address Food Safety concerns, including escalation to Quality and Management. Utilizes all food safety and food security guidelines, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) good manufacturing practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Directs and coordinates the activities of the employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as packers, machine operators, and blenders. Develops and motivates team to solve own day-to-day operational issues and achieve plant goals through ongoing communication and facilitation of team meetings. Coordinates daily inventories and supplies and other operational activities within or between departments. Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Inspects materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Observes work and monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Conducts employee training in equipment operations and work and safety procedures or assigns employee training to experienced workers. Maintains records of employees' attendance and hours worked. Counsels employees about work-related issues and assists employees to correct job-skill deficiencies. Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures of direct reports. Interprets specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers. Initiates and drives process improvements. Reads and analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluates current production estimates and outputs. Document all records outlined by company policies, such as production records, HACCP, good manufacturing policies, standard operating procedures, and food safety and quality plans. Oversees and completes production documentation, support documentation, and process control documentation throughout the facility. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required in an appropriate technical area, Mechanical Engineering preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing supervision 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in food and beverage manufacturing Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word Demonstrates essential problem-solving methods and initiative Ability to perform under pressure and to solve problems independently Ability to communicate well with all employees and customers Physical Demands: Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend Must possess visual acuity to document company records Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center Lifting to 40 pounds

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and lead Engineering projects designed to reduce waste, improve process capability, process reliability, increase OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), improve quality and manage capacity as required * Develop data acquisition and performance measuring techniques to gather and analyze critical data necessary to execute actions that improve product cost, quality and manufacturing reliability * Advise management of new developments which may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and/or inter-departmental relations. * Plan, resource and establish priorities and sequences for OEE improvement projects by Design of Experiments (DOEs) and related tools to optimize manufacturing process performance. * Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations, and develop recommendations and plans accordingly * Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts. * Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods. * Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing. * Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations. * Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes. * Review product designs for manufacturability or completeness. * Assist with the development of training in new or existing methods. Coach production personnel on best practices. * Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes. * Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions * Must possess visual acuity to document company records * Must be able to lift 40 pounds QUALIFICATIONS * BS in Engineering required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred * Preferred 3 years of engineering experience in a production manufacturing facility with emphasis on OEE and Manufacturing process improvements, Process & Equipment Design, and Project management. * Experience managing people and projects preferred * Experience in a food grade environment (FDA, GMP's, HACCP) with high speed packaging equipment preferred * Experience: Special Skills: Excellent computer skills, extensive Process and Packaging equipment design and operation, automation and controls (PLC, DCS, etc.) knowledge, solid analytical skills, demonstrated excellent interpersonal and Project Management Skills. Demonstrated proficiency in use of Process Excellence tools and Design for Six Sigma DFSS, (DMAIC, DOE, VSM, RCA, FMEA, etc.). * Specialized Training: Lean 6-Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent, Certified PMP preferred.

Scope: The HVAC Technician demonstrates proficiency in work involving facility/utility equipment and general building repairs / construction. High emphasis of proven proficiencies in leadership with duties that will involve preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced demanding food and beverage manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: * Promotes and practices safety and conducts him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times without compromise. * Displays initiative to lead efforts to improve productivity. * Uses tools ranging from hand and power tools to precision measuring and alignment instruments and electrical and electronic test equipment. * Performs routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, utility systems operate efficiently and maximizes equipment uptime. * Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and improve efficiencies. * Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct fault, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. * Must be able to perform checks on Trane 250-to-400-ton chillers and be able to troubleshoot the system. * Trouble shoot glycol pumps for the Trane chiller system. * Experienced with an in-depth knowledge of utility systems such as compressors, boilers, chillers, and water systems. * Familiar with HVAC operations and controls. * Knowledge of mechanical power transfer systems such as gear reducers, chain/belt drives, direct drives, bearings, shafts, and couplings. * Knowledge of 480-volt 3 phase power distribution such as transformers, Motor Control Centers, power panels. * Basic knowledge of 120- and 24-volt discrete control and 4-20mA analog control systems. * Knowledge and experience with pneumatic operated control valve actuators and solenoid devices. * Documents all work performed, hours, parts, and follow up work on maintenance work orders. * All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. * HVAC certification and experience required. * 5 years accumulative experience in building maintenance and/or utility maintenance. * Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications and CMMS experience. * Must have prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. * Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English. * Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills. * Must have strong critical thinking and technical troubleshooting abilities. * High sense of urgency and customer support. * Deep self-motivation and pride of craftsmanship, challenges the status quo. * Must have the ability to work extended hours while standing. * Must have good job performance and attendance records.
