Details * Sterile Processing - OR Coordinator * Sterile Processing * Full Time Status * Day Shift * Pay: $24.76 - $37.14 / hour Summary * This position performs all the duties of the Registered/Certified Sterile Processing Technologist. Serves as the liaison between the Sterile Processing department and the Operating room to assure smooth, uninterrupted daily instrument support. Has a strong understanding of sterile processing and instrument management. Facilitates continuous communication between the OR and SPD. All requests/needs from the OR are funneled through the coordinator to the appropriate technician in SPD. Follows up as needed in a timely manner. Keeps track of instrument flow and processing needs throughout the day. Is proactive in coordinating the instrument turnaround needs and communicates this effectively with the surgical team.
