HeartWare International CEO and leadership

Kaylie is a student University of Mississippi graduating in 2021 and is based in Oxford, Mississippi. She is a Student Worker at CIE Ole Miss and Chief Executive Officer at HEARTWARE INTERNATIONAL, INC.. Kaylie attended Southport High School between 2014 and 2018.

Jeff serves as HeartWare’s Chief Scientific Officer and has been with the Company since its inception. Dating back to April 1999, he was involved in the development of HeartWare’s technology through his employment with Kriton Medical, which HeartWare acquired in 2003. Jeff is responsible for all aspects of the design and physiological controls for HeartWare’s left ventricular assist device, the HeartWare Ventricular Assist System, and leads the development of our miniaturization technology. Jeff has twenty years of experience in hydraulic technology development including roles with AEA Technology Engineering Software and Babcock and Wilcox. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron (OH).

Peter is a seasoned management professional with over 25 years of professional experience in life sciences, software, direct retail and public accounting. Peter has extensive experience in financial management, capital fund raising, mergers and acquisitions and operations management. He has served in senior executive positions with companies ranging from start-up to $1 billion in revenues.

David Hathaway is a Chief Medical Officer at HEARTWARE INTERNATIONAL, INC. and is based in Medway, Massachusetts.
