    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a MicroWell Tech Transfer Lead. The Tech Transfer Lead will report directly to the Rochester MicroWell Engineering Manager. The position will ultimately be responsible for implementing new and improved products into the factory (Technology Transfer), ensuring manufacturability, unit manufacturing cost optimization and operations design requirements are met. This position will help lead and/or participate on cross functional teams, accountable for the completion of Operations Plan deliverables in the launch of these products. Will actively participate in these activities across multiple projects and will be the primary representative for Operations on the Development teams (PMT). Will help coordinate various operation groups to resolve product and process challenges to ensure the project timeline and documentation requirements are met to efficiently introduce new products and processes into Reagent Manufacturing. The individual will also provide input to planning for resource, budget, and other project planning activities. The individual will work within the documented procedures for change management, validation, the Ortho Product Delivery System, and cGMP. Has accountability to the Global Project Leader, Directors and Program Managers to ensure that Operations meet the project timelines in terms of cost, quality, and delivery. Helps ensure that the Tech Transfer Team and support groups within Operations provide technical & scientific support, resolve product and process challenges, optimize production, validate processes and products, and provide for the appropriate documentation for the introduction of new products and processes. Will be accountable for communications to key stakeholders of each project. The initial responsibility of this candidate will be to work with the Rochester Operations and R&D teams to define the tech transfer and operational setup procedures and documents.

    The Responsibilities

    Develop and coordinate the completion of the Operations Plan, including all work associated with the implementation of new and improved products into the factory.
