ROLE SUMMARY: Opening this Fall, Delilah Dallas is seeking skilled and service-oriented Barbacks to help deliver an elevated and personalized guest experience. In this role, you'll support the bar team by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, prepping garnishes, and clearing and washing all glassware. Working closely with the Lead Sommelier and Wine Director, you will assist in guiding guests through the wine list, offering thoughtful recommendations, and ensuring service is warm, professional, and aligned with the restaurant's standards. Responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, stocking, and maintaining accuracy within the POS system. The ideal candidate is service-minded, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong interest in wine and a willingness to learn. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain complete knowledge of wine list, and wine and food pairings. Clean equipment, tools, and supplies for wine service and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance. Maintain and update cellar/storage inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock. Meet regularly with the wine trade to actively seek quality wines for the restaurant wine program as well as evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase.
