Installation of all types of commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, air handlers, mini-splits, rooftop units, unit heaters, boilers, chillers. Check drawing for conflict Understand other trades for coordination Properly size, cut, insulate and install metal duct runs Understand kitchen hoods, exhaust, welded ducts and make-up air systems Able to run an area of a project with little to no supervision along with a level 1 or 2 apprentice. Follow all company safety policies and procedures Display the ability to build a positive team attitude/morale in supporting installers. Create a positive/constructive atmosphere at the job site. Recognize and change, when possible, a poor customer relationship into a positive one. Able to run small jobs/phase of project with one installer and complete the job at or below budget/completion date Offer suggestions on value engineering jobs Maintain an open-minded approach to new ideas Provide feedback to management for installer evaluations Be familiar with operation sequence of equipment pertaining to the mechanical trade Work with project leader to develop an environment of efficiency and continuous improvement Properly complete time cards weekly Requirements Installers and technicians are subject to work in indoor and outdoor conditions. Those could include, but are not limited to; heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow. Installers and technicians are also subject to work in cramped, tight, dirty spaces or would be required to climb ladders.
