What You'll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Operate Heavy Equipment. Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and/or finished products throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect Equipment. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately completing daily mobile equipment reports and other relevant documentation.
Maintain Equipment. Maintain equipment performance by checking vehicle fluid levels and adding correct fluids as necessary and assisting in performing other minor maintenance.
Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings. Monitor the plant and operations and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be required to ensure safety.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Mobile operators are given primary responsibility of performing all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated through mobile operators.
This is a second shift position.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assume that environmental, health and safety are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.
+ The teams are limestone quarry and plant mobile equipment with a salaried supervisor coordinating team activities.
+ Tasks and equipment utilized are changed per requirements of plant needs; therefore, individuals must possess a variety of task skills. Relationships with Other Jobs: This position will interact with production and maintenance personnel to reduce and eliminate production interruptions.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** High School Diploma
**Required Work Experience:**
+ Work well in a team and a minimum supervised setting.
+ Must be willing to work holidays, weekends various shifts and overtime as directed.
+ Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams.
+ Must be willing to accept change and strive for improvement.
+ Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment.
+ Must possess basic computer skills.

The employee will at times be exposed to extremely hot/cold, dusty, noisy, or dark situations. At times, work will be performed at great heights or in small confined spaces.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operation of various terminal equipment including shunt trucks, light duty pickup trucks, fuel trucks, trailers, chassis, forklift, sweeper truck
Moving containers/chassis within terminal to support train loading operations
General duties, as required, including pre-tripping of perishable intermodal containers, building electric reefer container sets on railcars, plug in reefers on ground and monitor performance
Perform visual inspection and report on damages and defects of intermodal equipment
Prepare railcars for proper loading of different-size containers by placement of pedestals and spacers
Assist in securement of containers once loaded to railcar (walking on railcar platforms, locking/unlocking container locks)
Update system as required once work is completed

Join our amazing team and contribute as a: Heavy EquipmentOperator ABOUT THE ROLE All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Mobile operators are given primary responsibility of performing all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated through mobile operators.
This is a second shift position.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
* Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assume that environmental, health and safety are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.
* The teams are limestone quarry and plant mobile equipment with a salaried supervisor coordinating team activities.
* Tasks and equipment utilized are changed per requirements of plant needs; therefore, individuals must possess a variety of task skills. Relationships with Other Jobs: This position will interact with production and maintenance personnel to reduce and eliminate production interruptions.
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma
Required Work Experience:
* Work well in a team and a minimum supervised setting.
* Must be willing to work holidays, weekends various shifts and overtime as directed.
* Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams.
* Must be willing to accept change and strive for improvement.
* Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment.
* Must possess basic computer skills.
* Travel through a Aggregate plant, i.e. walk over obstacles, climb stairs and ladders, lift heavy or awkward parts, wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, fall protection, respirators etc.). The employee will at times be exposed to extremely hot/cold, dusty, noisy, or dark situations. At times, work will be performed at great heights or in small confined spaces.
Additional Requirements:
* Previous Sand and Gravel experience
* Previous welding, cutting experience (plus)
* Basic math, reading, and writing skills required (English)
* Haul trucks and loaders, experience preferred
* Excavator, haul truck experience preferred
* Knowledge of products, industry terminology
* Punctual and reliable; good attendance required, Good communication skills - verbal and listening
* Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Agronomy EquipmentOperator - Applicator - Essential Responsibilities:
ALCIVIA is seeking a Custom Applicator responsible for the safe and efficient mixing and application of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides to member farm fields. This role involves operating commercial sprayers and spreaders to deliver crop inputs during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. During the winter/offseason, the Custom Farm Applicator will support maintenance and operational activities, which may include equipment repair, facility upkeep, hauling grain and fertilizer, and assisting with grain and feed production.
Operate commercial sprayers and dry spreaders to apply crop inputs.
Apply wet and dry agronomy products to crop fields in accordance with agronomic standards.
Mix chemicals and fertilizers accurately following prescribed formulas.
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery.
Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely repairs are completed.
Utilize onboard computer systems and technology within application equipment.
Assist with major equipment repairs, painting, and facility maintenance during offseason.
Support inventory movement, tracking, and accounting processes.
Collaborate across divisions including Animal Nutrition, Grain, and Energy business units.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Agronomy EquipmentOperator - Applicator - Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Commercial Applicator License (assistance provided to obtain if not currently held).
Class A CDL (assistance provided to obtain if not currently held).
Clean driving record.
Previous applicator experience preferred; experience operating heavy machinery is a plus.
Ability to work varied schedules and hours based on seasonal and weather conditions.
Basic mathematical skills for accurate chemical mixing.
