Duties and Responsibilities: * Remove snow using a snowplow and heavy equipment for extended periods of time, depending on the amount of snowfall. * Be available and prepared to report to work each time it snows, either to a central location or directly to the jobsite * Deposit removed snow in appropriate locations, avoiding obstruction of trees, shrubs, fire hydrants, and sidewalks. * Identify and report any concerns or incidents to the direct supervisor. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation by completing job sheets immediately following each snow removal operation. * Be aware of safety issues or concerns and report them to the appropriate supervisor. * Perform additional related tasks assigned by supervisor or manager. About the role As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process. Position Responsibilities: Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers, as necessary Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations Position Requirements & Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule Total Rewards & Compensation: Competitive Base Salary Day one employee benefits: competitive health insurance options, PTO, retirement savings plan and 401K match Physical Demands of the Role: Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb Ability to lift/carry 50lbs Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces Qualify to wear a full-face respirator Consistently work in various weather conditions All Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.
