An experienced Heavy Equipment Operator is needed in our Cascade office in Medford, NJ. The role entails safely and efficiency operating a variety of equipment, as well as inspecting, providing preventative maintenance, and occasionally assisting in the repair of equipment, as needed. The Heavy Equipment Operator is proficient in the use of a diverse range of construction equipment, to include Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Rollers, Graders, Pavers, Skid Steers, and other pieces of equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, skid steers, bob cats, rollers, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment, in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
Ensure proper care of equipment while in use
Conduct daily safety inspections of all equipment prior to operation and perform regular checks on the functionality of fleet equipment
Document regular maintenance checks to maintain adequate records of equipment performance
Promote workplace safety and environmental practices and followed designated safety practices while operating equipment
Provide preventative maintenance, as needed, to ensure equipment is safe and operating properly
Conduct minor repairs on equipment issues, as needed, and report larger repairs or concerns to the appropriate personnel
Perform other essential duties, as directed by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
CDL license strongly preferred
10+ years of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment
Valid OSHA-40 training
Keen attention to detail and situational awareness
Strong work ethic and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to provide professional work references
This position requires 80% travel

Responsibilities
Operate equipment used for construction purposes such as screeds, cranes, bulldozers, loaders, compost mixers, excavators, etc.
Build levels and excavate land surfaces using a variety of construction equipment.
Clear construction areas of debris and other hazardous materials prior to beginning a project, and dispose of it properly.
Transport waste to appropriate locations, if required.
Ensure that heavy equipment that is to be used on a construction project is cleaned on a regular basis.
Maintain and update inventory of supplies, material and equipment used in each project.
Perform preventative and general maintenance on heavy equipment.
Make sure that heavy equipment is safe for use by performing constant checks.
Ensure that all equipment is safely and securely stored at the end of each work day.
Take instruction from supervisor for daily work tasks and provide feedback to supervisor on a daily basis.
Ensure that work reports are prepared at the end of each day and handed over to the supervisor.

The Opportunity:
Recycling Management Resources is seeking a Full Time Mobile Equipment Operator for our Barrington, NJ Plant. The Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a Forklift and/or Skid Steer in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production. Shift Hours: 1st Shift hours - 7:00AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, with extended hours on an as-needed basis.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Perform pre and post trip inspections of equipment
Load/unload material from trailers
Ensure correct quality of material that is handled
Ensure accuracy and recording of weights
Use Gladhand locks when entering trailers
General plant housekeeping
Report equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff
What you need to succeed:
Education/Experience:
2+ years' experience operating a forklift or skid steer
Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Assist in the loading and transporting of materials and equipment to and from the job site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the site manager immediately.
Manage and maintain logs of equipment use, maintenance, and repair.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven experience operating large-scale heavy construction equipment, particularly big excavators and deep trench work.
Valid operator's license and clean driving record.
Strong understanding of construction operations and safety practices, with an emphasis on working safely around utilities and in tight spaces.
Physical fitness to handle manual and machinery operations.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in varying weather conditions as project demands.
Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Nick Falcone & Sons, Inc., a distinguished construction company with a rich history since 1945, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator. This role involves operating large-scale machinery to contribute to our ongoing commercial and municipal projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our tradition of high-quality workmanship by efficiently handling big equipment and deep excavators at various construction sites

In West Philadelphia, in 1945, Nick Falcone Sr. began Nick Falcone & Sons by offering residential concrete, new development work, flat concrete & curb work. In 1960, Nick Falcone Jr. & his brother John Falcone expanded the business into heavy highway work & concrete roadway paving. In the late 1970's the company thrived on commercial, new residential developments & heavy highway work. The ownership then changed to the third generation of Falcone's in 1986. With continued success, the business expanded into municipal work & commercial site development. Currently, the fourth generation has already begun to hone their skills & knowledge in order to move towards the next set of leadership goals. Today, Nick Falcone & Sons is proud to employ a dedicated group of loyal & extremely knowledgeable staff to continue our decades long commitment to high quality workmanship.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely operate heavy equipment, including large excavators, dozers, graders, and loaders, as required for commercial construction projects.
Use GPS technology to navigate and operate equipment accurately, even in tight spaces and around utilities.
Perform deep trench work, including the use of trench boxes and shoring, digging up to 20' deep depending on the project.
Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans to ensure accurate operation of equipment.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Coordinate with site supervisors to plan, organize, and execute activities related to earthmoving, site preparation, and material handling.
Assist in the loading and transporting of materials and equipment to and from the job site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the site manager immediately.
Manage and maintain logs of equipment use, maintenance, and repair.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven experience operating large-scale heavy construction equipment, particularly big excavators and deep trench work.
Valid operator's license and clean driving record.
Strong understanding of construction operations and safety practices, with an emphasis on working safely around utilities and in tight spaces.
Physical fitness to handle manual and machinery operations.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in varying weather conditions as project demands.
Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Knowledge of GPS-guided equipment is a must.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in heavy equipment operation preferred.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Commitment to safety, especially when team members are working in trenches.

Monday to Friday 6:30a - 3:00p
Saturday work is available
8-10 hour shift

Aston, PA, 19014 - Corporate Office (pick up and drop trucks off daily)
