Operate gasoline or diesel-powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler type traction, such as road graders, tractors with bulldozer or angle dozer blades, front-end loaders, excavators, backhoes, wheel loader, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scraper attachments.

Physical Demands: Heavy physical effort is required in constantly climbing in and out of different machines, pushing and pulling levers continuously while machine is in operation, and lifting such items as opening and closing tail gates on dump trucks. Working Conditions: Operation of large and complicated equipment in difficult circumstances increases exposure and risk of injury. Works both inside and outside and is exposed to hot and humid weather and/or extremely cold weather. Ice, road oils, and other items such as loose gravel and rocks create hazardous conditions. The operator is subjected to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, oils, solvents, and fumes from motors and exhausts. When working inside, must ensure proper ventilation to minimize fumes while welding and/or other fumes caused by equipment or vehicles. Operate rollers, loaders, watertrucks, dozers, and other types of operatedequipment.
Perform basic machine maintenance, including fluid checks, oil and lube, greasing, etc. and mechanical repairs, daily and/or as necessary.
Read and understand stakes.
Work with lasers while operatingequipment.
Report all equipment problems to supervisor.
Use all equipment properly and ensure safe work habits.

+ Keep accurate production and quality records while following all safety protocols.
**What you need**
+ High school diploma or GED (required)
+ 2+ years in casting or similar manufacturing processes (required)
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment (required)
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy, high-temperature environment (required)
+ Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)
