ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operates a variety of light to heavy equipment at assigned job sites, which may include: Gradall, tractor trailer, excavator, bulldozer, roller, dump trucks, concrete mixers, backhoes, forklifts, loaders, skid steer, concrete breaker, and/or other related items. Wastewater operators will operate a jet truck, vacuum trucks, and a CCTV truck. Performs preventative maintenance on applicable equipment. Sets up traffic warning devices and barricades and directs traffic around work sites. Checks and inspects barricades daily for proper placement and visibility. Completes a variety of logs, documents, and/or simple reports regarding quantity of materials handled, equipment operations, and/or other related information. Prepares and cleans up work sites. Transports equipment and/or materials to designated job site(s). Participates in winter weather operational activities. Responds to emergency operation and on-call situations.
