Job Summary: The Tack Truck (Distributor) Operator is responsible for safely operating a tack truck to apply asphalt emulsion (tack coat) to road surfaces in preparation for paving operations. This role is critical to ensuring proper bond between paving layers and requires precision, attention to safety, and mechanical aptitude.

Job Duties & Requirements:

The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.

Inspect and maintain tack truck to ensure proper working condition, including cleaning spray bar and checking oil, fluids, and emulsion levels.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete necessary documentation.
Assist with general labor duties on the paving crew when not operating the tack truck.
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
Follow company and industry safety standards and procedures at all times.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience operating tack truck or similar equipment.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B with tanker endorsement required.
Knowledge of proper emulsion application and truck operation techniques.
Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
Possess a solid understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
Must have the following CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement
Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment.
Valid driver's license required (CDL required with hazmat).
Willingness to work extended hours, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
High school education or GED equivalent.

Position Summary:

2. Understand and follow order specifications and tolerances by reading docket and specification sheets.
3. Perform makeready, run and adjust ,clean-up and maintenance of imaging systems to ensure a quality product. Learn and keep updated on all imaging systems.
4. Continuously inspect product and troubleshoot imaging and press equipment to ensure product meets customer specifications.
5. Operate CRT to set up imaging programs making changes as necessary according to procedures.
6. Perform imaging and press paperwork and follow necessary consumable maintenance and productivity procedures.
7. Ensure PM's are done on proprietary imaging equipment on a daily basis.
8. Keep press and surrounding work area clean and neat at all times.
9. Work with other team members and departments to reduce make-ready and to increase operating efficiencies.
10. Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Utilize guards on machines when in operation.
11. Follow safety, production, recycling and other set procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Operate various sizes and weights of equipment. Heavy equipment may include, but is not limited to, front-end loaders, dozers, excavators, haul trucks, graders, and tractors.
* Clean equipment, perform routine inspections, provide preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, and report defects to management.
* Observe and monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Perform proper record keeping for daily production and inspection.
* Perform basic equipment maintenance duties within scope.
* Cleans up spillage of sand, rock, or mud at conveyor transfer points, feeder discharges, plant leakage areas, and spillovers. Keeps building floors washed down and all trash and spent maintenance materials properly disposed of.
* Cross-train in other positions as needed.
* Promote a positive company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Working a 2-2-3 Schedule (12 hour shifts)
Who We're Looking For:
* High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

As a Dozer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction and excavation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy machinery, specifically dozers, to perform tasks related to grading, leveling, and earthmoving. You will work closely with our construction crew and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Requirements:
Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota.
Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
Valid Driver's License, preferably Class A.
Acceptable motor vehicle record.
Previous heavy equipmentoperating experience.
Strong mechanical skills.

Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Maneuver the dozer safely and accurately to avoid damage to property, underground utilities, or other equipment.
While operatingequipment, maintain clear and effective communication with the site supervisor, team members, and ground personnel using verbal and non-verbal hand signals.
Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines and protocols.
Perform routine maintenance on the dozer, such as greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning the equipment.
Operate dozers and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, excavating, and pushing materials.
Perform precise grading work to ensure the proper elevation and slope according to project specifications.
