Examples of Work: Runs payloader, bulldozers, and motor grader in various construction projects, such as streets, ball parks, and airport runways. Loads sand on trucks at the clay pit; cleans out ditches. Digs out block drain pipes in bay and bayou areas with a dragline. Repairs washouts at airport. Uses bulldozers to push trash at dump and spread sand over trash. Use of heavy equipment is key to this job classification. Operates linkbelt to dig ditches for storm drains. Operates tractor/trailer from the transfer station to the landfill location or other designated locations.
