    Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic - Compost / MRF Location: Fresno & Kerman, CA Department: Post Collections - Compost / MRF Operations Employment Type: Non-Exempt Reports To: Production Supervisor, Compost / MRF Operations The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy and stationary equipment used in our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and compost operations across multiple company sites. Equipment includes loaders, excavators, grinders, screens, conveyors, compactors, balers, and other recycling and production equipment essential to daily operations. This role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company, environmental, and safety standards. The position requires advanced mechanical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage maintenance schedules while supporting production uptime and mentoring assistant technicians.
