Duties and Responsibilities
The Dozer Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials
Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites
Maintain the truck in good working condition
Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as oil changes and tire rotations
Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.
Must be able to follow directions.
Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.
Position spends approximately 5% of time outside inspecting and maintaining the equipment, which may involve standing, squatting, bending, lying, or in various other positions to reach the machine. Position spends approximately 95% of the time sitting and operating the equipment.
Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range.
Must be available for work 5am - 6pm Monday through Saturdays.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machines and chemicals at various times. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
