This is a travel position with job sites in OR, WA, and ID. The Travel Utility Excavator/Equipment Operator will safely and skillfully operate and maintain construction equipment (cable plows, backhoe, mini excavator, skid steer, rock saw, and other utility construction equipment) for utility excavation for fiber projects. This position may also help with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials utilizing heavy equipment. This position requires a Class A CDL. Pay: $25-40/hr, DOE. Daily Per Diem, + accommodations included. The Operator - Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling facility, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean.
