Incumbents operate and maintain vehicles and equipment which may require a Commercial Driver's License to operate. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma (G.E.D.) and one year of proficiency in the use and operation of qualifying equipment designated by the department; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must hold recognized training certification and be able to safely operate one or more piece of qualifying equipment. LICENSING REQUIREMENTS * Valid Driver's License as per State law or Department requirement. * Public Works or other recognized Training Certification on Qualifying Equipment. * Some positions may require a CDL (class to be determined by equipment assignment) QUALIFICATIONS To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
