What You Do Perform pre-shift, and pre-operation, safety analysis of all the mining equipment at the site; Operate various mining equipment at the project site performing earth moving and road watering duties as needed, such as: Komatsu Mining Fleet Haul Trucks (100-Ton Capacity) Front End Loaders (6-yard bucket) Shovels (19-yard bucket) Operate all equipment in a safe manner; Perform minor maintenance checks on the equipment such as fluid levels and belt quality; At various times will be required to help with some manual labor functions to help maintain the site, i.e. shoveling dirt, fence mending, small rock movements; Become knowledgeable of all MSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations related to equipment and road maintenance and Maintain equipment maintenance and operations records.
