This position requires a person willing to be a “jack of all trades,” in that operator experience is necessary, but the ability to hop off the machine and work within the crew performing other tasks such as maintenance, prep, clearing/cutting, pipe installation above/below ground, welding, minor carpentry, HDPE fusion and other field construction tasks is required. The ideal candidate must also have an excellent work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills, have a team mentality, and be safety-oriented in all situations and environments. The compensation for this position, while commensurate with operating experience, can pay more than most due to the need to do more than just operateequipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Construction Experience-5 years minimum
The ability to operate various types of bulldozers, excavators, and front loaders is required
Driver's License-Required and in good standing; CDL preferred, but not necessary
Education-high school or equivalent required; training & certifications HDPE pipe fusion, equipmentoperation, welding and/or rigging preferred;
Certifications in OSHA 30 Hr, OSHA 40 Hr 1910.120 HAZWOPER preferred
