Responsibilities include operating and maintaining heavy equipment to support facility operations and maintenance at the Detroit Arsenal. Duties include the safe and efficient operation of machinery, such as loaders, backhoes, street sweepers, and forklifts, for tasks including material handling, landscaping, earthmoving, snow removal, and site preparation. Ensures compliance with safety standards, performs routine equipment inspections, and assists with general facility upkeep as needed. This position will report to the Grounds Supervisor.
