The Heavy Equipment Lube Tech is responsible for fueling, greasing, and performing routine service checks on heavy construction equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role supports mechanics and operators by maintaining proper fluid levels, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and identifying potential issues before they become major repairs. Key Responsibilities Fuel, grease, and service heavy equipment daily in compliance with company standards. Inspect and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, etc.). Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, loose parts, and visible wear. This individual in this position performs duties in conjunction with the NTMWD Facilities Services operations. The position is responsible for the operation of specialized heavy equipment necessary for the excavation of pipeline facilities and various other construction type activities. Additionally, this position may be required to perform supervisory duties equivalent of a crew leader when necessary. Section 2 - Major Responsibilities Operates and monitors performance of heavy construction type equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, scrapers, off-road trucks, graders etc., with minimal supervision.
