Performs manual labor and functions as a member of a crew as well as independently. Installs directional, building identification and parking lot signs. Required Qualifications
• Previous work experience operating trucks and related highway & earth moving equipment such as backhoe, skid steer, motor grader, etc.
• Must have valid driver's license with good driving record. Will be required to operate a motor vehicle daily.
• Must have a Commercial Driver's license (CDL) Class B or higher.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT medical certification.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated EquipmentOperator to join our team on the Titan Mid-Atlantic Aggregate Troutville Plant team. This position will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, crusher and screening equipment and participating in all aspects of the daily operation.
Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, front-end loaders, and water trucks.
* Operate and monitor portable crushing plants, conveyors, and related equipment to ensure consistent production and product quality.
* Conduct visual inspections of plant feed, crushers, conveyors, and screen decks; ensure the crusher is level and operating properly.
* Maintain site cleanliness; perform general labor including shoveling in and around belts, crushers, and stockpiles.
* Perform daily equipment maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning; report mechanical issues or needed wear parts to the foreman promptly.
* Adjust crusher settings to optimize performance, gradation, and material quality; collect material samples for testing as required.
* Monitor dust emissions and apply dust suppression measures as needed.
* Perform tracked conveyor moves and other material handling adjustments as directed.
* Conduct daily pre- and post-shift safety inspections and complete all required documentation (e.g., equipment logs, activity reports, inspections).
* Assist in daily plant and pit operations, including setup, maintenance, and production support.
* Be available for weekend and/or after-hours work as business needs dictate.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Previous crusher operation experience preferred
* Experienced Excavator Operator experience preferred
* Prior experience in mining, aggregates, or construction environments preferred.
* Previous crushing or screening plant experience considered an asset.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of surface mining, sand production, and aggregate processing practices.
* Knowledge of workplace safety practices and MSHA/OSHA regulations.
* Welding and torch cutting experience preferred.
* Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather, noisy, and dusty environments.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
