Position Summary
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic specializing in the civil construction industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of heavy machinery used in various construction projects. Your Role
• Manages all small equipment needs, including maintenance, repair, and storage.
• Performs major and minor repairs on truck fleet and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner to reduce breakdowns and costs.
• Performs diagnostics, maintains, and repairs company vehicles and equipment utilizing various methods, to include computer-based technology; assists with preventative maintenance (PMs).
• Maintains and organizes the yard at the main office.
• Performs minor repairs on truck fleet and equipment.
• Orders parts as needed and acts as the primary parts runner for the shop/field.
• Ensures the shop inventory and shelves are fully stocked; helps maintain shop cleanliness.

Minimum Job Requirements
Must have a minimum of three years (level I), four years (level II), five years (level III) and six plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment.
Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements
Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently move large recreational vehicles (RVs) around our property. This includes moving RVs in and out of service bays, onto storage lots, and to other designated areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Move RVs to Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) locations.
Transport RVs to cleaning locations or other sites as needed.
Stage RVs that require service or work.
Ensure a minimum of six RVs are always staged for work.
Once a trailer is marked as complete, move it to the delivery location for drivers.
Collaborate with technicians and drivers to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
