General Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates. Responsibilities: * Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. * Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. * Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area. * Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material. * Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader. * Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader. * Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections. * Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others. * Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required. The Operator - Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors and rear view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operate equipment that may include: forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader and other equipment using proper safety standards. + Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials. + Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed. + Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to Maintenance Shop for repair. + Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed. + Follow all required safety policies and procedures. + Ensure that shop is clean, serviced and stored at the completion of each shift. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. The Lease Operator I is responsible for safe and efficient, daily operations of our natural gas system. This is an entry-level position which will receive training to perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and equipment startup. The Lease Operator is responsible for safe and efficient daily operations of our natural gas system. This is a mid-level position which will require the ability to perform duties independently or with assistance as necessary. Responsibilities Travel to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e., gauges, levels, fluids, pressures, production, etc., in an accurate and consistent manner). This is applicable to Lease Operators only. Inspect locations for any leaks, spills, and recognize any potential issues. Contact immediate supervisor with any relevant issues, or significant production loss in a timely manner. Applicable to lease operators, foreman, meter techs, and superintendents. Record and process all paperwork, inspections, timecards, and expense reports in a timely manner. Identify and diagnose any problems on location and repair without supervision. Maintain and increase production through good, daily operations by properly utilizing tools the tools and equipment available. Perform all other duties required for which the employee is qualified and trained. Requirements 2+ years of oilfield experience Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools.
