What We Offer (Benefits & Compensation) CDL Operators: $30-$34/hour Field Technicians: $27-$29/hour Project-specific prevailing wage rate opportunities for both positions Full union benefits through Operating Engineers Local 150 including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid leave Company-provided equipment, safety gear, and uniforms 40+ hours weekly with regular overtime opportunities Key Responsibilities - Heavy Equipment Operators & Field Technicians CDL Operators: Drive and operate vacuum trucks for industrial waste removal including solids, sludge, and liquids; operate heavy equipment for roadway crack sealing projects Field Technicians: Operate smaller vacuum units, high-pressure jetting equipment, and power washing systems; assist CDL operators with hose setup and equipment deployment Set up and break down vacuum piping, hoses, and hydro-hose configurations for various job site operations Perform confined space entry for industrial cleaning and inspection projects while maintaining strict safety protocols Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine equipment maintenance following company safety standards Qualifications - CDL Heavy Equipment Operators Valid CDL Class A or B with tanker and air brake endorsements required (3+ years verifiable experience) Clean MVR subject to pre-employment verification and ongoing monitoring Hydro excavation and vac truck experience strongly preferred Hazmat endorsement required or must obtain within 90 days of hire OSHA 10 certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days Qualifications - Non-CDL Field Technicians Valid driver's license required with clean driving record (MVR check conducted) Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate power tools and industrial equipment Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification within 30 days of hire Ability to work 40+ hours weekly including varied shifts Preferred Qualifications - Equipment Operator & Technician Previous experience in industrial maintenance, construction, or environmental services Confined space entry training or certification CCTV pipe inspection equipment operation experience High-pressure water jetting or hydro excavation experience Physical Requirements - Heavy Equipment Operators & Field Technicians Lift and carry equipment, hoses, and materials up to 75 lbs regularly Work in confined spaces wearing proper safety equipment and respirators Stand for extended periods during equipment setup and operation in all weather conditions Operate in industrial and outdoor environments including heat, cold, rain, and snow Work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, and on-call rotation when needed Travel out of town for regional projects with occasional overnight stays
