WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Automated Equipment Operator is a key position in our Lockeford, CA plant. Every day you're maximizing the output of products and ensuring that the product line being manufactured is at top quality while operating safely.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment: Return all tools after use to proper storage location; perform routine cleaning and organizing; ensure everyone is in a safe area prior to running semi-automated machine; identify unsafe working conditions and notify supervisor.
· Meet or exceed daily production goals in output of concrete products with ownership of the equipment, pride in quality and demonstrated appropriate safety consideration in operations.
· Manufacture products in accordance with standard operating procedures; inspect the forming to ensure the forming is properly set up and ready for production; install a variety of different molds and make appropriate adjustments per operating manual prior to running machine; monitor automated system to ensure product is manufactured correctly.
· Clean machine once production is completed for the day.
· Ensure all equipment is properly locked out and tagged out to set up semi-automated machine.
· Ensure molds, sensors, forms, vibrators, tables, pallets, machinery, etc. are fully functional and set up properly prior to use.
· Set up semi-automated machine to produce several concrete products per production drawings or specifications.
· Inspect the set height, moisture of concrete mixture, and amount of concrete ordered prior to running semi-automated machine.
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on the semi-automated machine.
-Troubleshoot any alarms triggered by the semi-automated machinery and take the appropriate steps to rectify any issues associated with the machinery, or, if not able to troubleshoot, consult with manufacturer technical support team for further troubleshooting assistance.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for that candidate with an orientation toward personal growth and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated automated equipment operation experience preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Other desired qualifications include:
· Must have experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery in a fast-paced environment with some fabrication experience.
· Experience working with a CMMS software.
· Basic user level knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP.
· Familiar with PLC Control equipment and PLC Languages.
· Skilled at troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Strong communication skills and demonstrated teamwork skills.
· Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Maintain Heavy Equipment & Over the road Truck fleet. Ensure that equipment meets all safety and regulatory requirements before releasing into service. Assist with all daily fleet maintenance activities, and all other assigned duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with Fleet Manager and Leadman to determine daily workload.
Performs daily routine and repair maintenance on heavy landfill equipment, garbage collection vehicles, and satellite collection trucks.

Communicates repair issues with Fleet Manager and/or Lead man in a timely manner.

Attends all safety training and meetings as required for all shop and facility employees.
Able to complete and submit all required daily reporting/paperwork to management in a timely manner.
