Performing routine error correction and data editing at the computer console.

Operates M-2 scoring system as back-up.
Set up and operate BASH equipment in accordance with the local base BASH Plan and notifies the RCO of any hazardous bird activity.

Full-time Description
The equipmentoperatoroperates medium complexity equipment such as front-end loaders, booms, backhoes, and directional drilling rigs in order to install, maintain and repair a municipal water system.
Essential Duties:
Must be able to operate backhoe and keep ditch in a safe condition for men laying pipe.
Must be able to dig near or at specified grade.
Supervise crew in absence of Foreman.
Keeps backhoe lubricated and fueled.
Must be knowledgeable in construction of water mains.
Required to work extra hours as deemed necessary by department head.
Required to perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge And Skills
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
Should have a minimum of 2 years experience in operation of light to medium equipment.
Should have good oral and written communication skills.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
The environmental working conditions of this position include constantly working in wet surrounds and high temperatures and very frequently working around loud noise, low temperatures and working outside. Also, frequently works around hazardous machinery, low noise, cluttered floor areas and poor ventilation. Occasionally works at night, inside and around dust or fumes.

Requirements/Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience in the Construction Equipment industry.
Travel to customers daily but home at night.
Prepares and presents product line information to customers, prepares and presents professional sales presentations to clients.
Contact and visit current and prospective customers, on-site, growing market sales and penetration.
Identifies potential sales opportunities by prospecting, visiting prospects, identifying needs, explaining product details, options, initiates product quotations, follow-up with customer inquiries, answers customer questions, correspondence, resolves customer problems, and builds long-term customer relationships.
Requires routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers.
Responds to customer inquiries, service needs, questions, or complaints regarding products, services, billing issues, and deliveries. Coordinates and works with inside sales and order processing groups to achieve desired results.
Manages designated territories and customers to maximize our presence in the industry and ensures return business.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record and have a valid driver's license.
Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, travel planners, ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information, and assign projects in a timely manner.
Maintains and updates customer database, customer contacts, price levels, reviews / analyzes customer sales reports, identifies and takes appropriate action to grow sales based on related information.
