The Quarry operator is responsible to operate all Mobile and Stationary equipment on a rotation to support the Primary and Secondary Operations, while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities, and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities
1. Comply, understand, and promote corporate and division safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."
2. Ensure efficient and consistent completion of scheduled production goals by working jointly with Team Leaders.
3. Operate all Stationary Plants including, Secondary Control Tower, WRP, KRUPP and Primary Plant.
4. Ensure safe and efficient operations of Secondary Plant by acting as Secondary Plant Rover.
5. Utilize Graniterock Heavy Equipment including Dozer, Skid steer, 992 Loader, 988 Loader, 5 yard loader and pickup truck as needed to ensure safe and efficient mining operation.
6. Operate a dozer to move product from the Water Reduction Plant to final stockpile.
7. Operate a 992 Loader to feed raw product from the mining areas to the KRUPP hopper.
8. Identify, mitigate, and report safety concerns during shift, assist in ensuring compliance with MSHA and Cal-OSHA requirements.
9. Work jointly with Secondary and Primary Team to insure completion of production Goals.
10. Work with Maintenance Team to develop a maintenance schedule to support productivity, safety, quality and efficiency goals.
Education and Work Experience
* Heavy Duty EquipmentOperation preferred.
* Experience working in a Quarry environment preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Mobile & Stationary equipmentoperation experience.
* Ability to work effectively with Quarry Team members.
* Good organizational and follow-through skills.
* Plant operation experience preferred.
* Ability to work on Day, Swing or Graveyard shift.
* Experience running dozer, skid steer, 992 Loader,988 Loader, 5 yard loader, pick up truck preferred
* Ability to rotate between equipment and plants as needed.
Work is covered under Operating Engineers Local 3.

Position Summary:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure safety.
Operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment proficiently.
Work in a fast-paced close quarters environment with other heavy equipment, forklifts, garbage trucks and pedestrian traffic safely.

About the Role
We're seeking skilled Heavy Machine Operators to support the safe operation, testing, and performance readiness of large-scale mining vehicles. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge heavy equipment and autonomous vehicle systems in a fast-growing automotive technology environment.
As a Heavy Machine Operator, you'll operate and maintain 20-ton mining vehicles, perform safety inspections, and assist with hardware and software testing. You'll also collaborate with engineering teams, providing actionable feedback to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate and maneuver 20-ton mining vehicles and other heavy equipment.
Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, complete DVIRs, and promptly report issues.
Support hardware & software testing, delivering clear written and verbal feedback.
Uphold the highest safety and compliance standards; ensure vehicle readiness.
Travel up to 50% to support field operations and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and data capture.
Daily Tasks
Execute thorough equipment safety inspections.
Operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles in varied environments.
Record and communicate performance feedback to engineering/test teams.
Represent the company professionally and reinforce a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
5+ years of verifiable heavy machinery operation (mining/industrial preferred).
Comfortable operating and backing 20-ton vehicles; able to drive for extended periods.
CDL-A preferred but not required.
Must pass background check, road test, and all DOT requirements (drug test, MVR, physical).
Clean driving record, including:
≤ 2 minor moving violations in the past 3 years
No serious traffic violations in the past 5 years
No DUI/DWI/OUI or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs in the past 10 years
No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
No preventable DOT recordables in the past 10 years
Strong teamwork, professionalism, and communication.
Ability to interpret/apply laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
Interest in driver-assistance and autonomous technology; willing to learn.
Work Schedule
12-hour shifts on an alternating weekly schedule:
Week 1: 3 days on / 4 days off
Week 2: 4 days on / 3 days off
Initial training may be held in Sunnyvale, CA for one week before transitioning to Morgan Hill.

We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Heavy EquipmentOperator to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 2435 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, CA 95205 and limited job-related travel may be required.
Position Summary:
GreenWaste is seeking to temporarily fill the position of Heavy EquipmentOperator to provide support to one or more facilities. This role's main function will be to operate industrial grade equipment efficiently while observing all safety protocols.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure safety.
Operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment proficiently.
Work in a fast-paced close quarters environment with other heavy equipment, forklifts, garbage trucks and pedestrian traffic safely.
Load trucks and/or processing equipment.
Push material on tipping pads as needed.
Construct onsite building pads, all weather surfaces, and slopes.
Maintaining the sites roads and terrain.
Assist with unloading trucks as needed.
Understand the safety features of each piece of equipment and how to properly use and track them.
Top load walking floor trailers with the proper materials for each individual truck.
Communicate with the scale and spotters to manage traffic flow on the tipping floors.
Daily pre trip and post trip inspections of equipment and report any issues to the supervisor on shift.
Keep equipment clean, fueled and in good repair throughout the shifts minimizing disruptions to operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the use of all heavy equipment, its operation and all of the safety features.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, think and make decisions quickly.
Be punctual, and reliable in order to minimize disruptions to the day-to-day operations.
Ability to work as a team and work well with others.

Requires the ability to handle material weighing up to 45 lbs.
