Major Duties include:
* Operating multiple types of heavy engineering equipment inclusive of but not limited to: gasoline or diesel-powered heavy equipment, five cubic-yard dump trucks, road graders, and front-end loaders
* Operating heavy equipment to move and load material such as dirt, and other material.
* Operate vehicles with auxiliary attachments (e.g., mowers, sweeper, sanding units) to perform duties.
* Operate trucks and equipment with multiple operating functions like front loader/compactor trash trucks equipment.
* Operate various types of equipment and trucks on congested roadways, in inclement weather and on steep and narrow roadways.
* Loads, secures, and hauls equipment to and from project sites using truck and trailer.
Physical Demands: Heavy physical effort is required in constantly reaching, bending, turning, and moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to handle different sets of controls to operate the equipment and attachments. Considerable strain is caused by the constant vibration of the equipment and the jerking and jolting from operating over rough surfaces. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds and often puts forth similar effort when pushing, pulling, turning and positioning parts, assemblies, equipment and tools.
Working Conditions: Works both inside and outside with the majority of work being performed outside. When working outside, worker is frequently exposed to inclement weather. Incumbent works in rain, mud, snow, and in hot/cold temperatures. The operator is frequently exposed to irritation or discomfort from dust, fumes, oils, solvents and cold and dampness. Worker is frequently exposed to the possibility of receiving cuts, abrasions, bruises and strains while servicing and operatingequipment. Summer conditions could include noise, and potential hazards in the form of poisonous plants, insects, wild animals and snakes. Follows prescribed safety practices and uses safety equipment such as protective hearing devices and hard hats.
Air Quality: Poor air quality afflicts Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, especially during summer months - generally May to October. High ozone levels may be the most harmful pollutant here. Heavy Machine Operator
Safely operate MEWPs, Straight Mast Forklifts, and Telescopic Forklifts in accordance with safety standards and venue requirements.
Assist with the loading, unloading, positioning, and movement of staging, truss, lighting, audio, and scenic equipment.
Work closely with production crews, stagehands, and supervisors to support event timelines.
Conduct pre- and post-operationequipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all company, venue, and OSHA safety guidelines.
Heavy Machine Qualifications
Previous experience operating MEWPs and forklifts in a production, warehouse, construction, or live event environment preferred.
Valid equipment certifications or ability to obtain certification as required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Scaffolding Climber Duties
Safely climb structures, trusses, and venue grids to perform overhead work.
Install and secure rigging equipment, motors, and cabling at heights.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of overhead systems.
Ensure compliance with fall protection and safety protocols.
Scaffolding Climber Qualifications
Proven climbing experience (entertainment rigging, rope access, or related field).
Must be comfortable working at significant heights for extended periods.
Knowledge of fall arrest systems, PPE, and safety regulations.
ETCP Rigging Certification or equivalent training preferred.
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION SCOPE
The Dozer Operator will be responsible for operating a D8/D9 dozer to efficiently and effectively construct embankment and fill areas on a project. Must have experience working in mountainous terrain with steep grades.
This position may include day or night shift work, travel, overtime, and weekend work.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Safe and efficient operation of D8 and D9 dozers to meet production targets
Conduct pre-trip/post-trip walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members

REQUIREMENTS
5 years of earth moving experience
Valid Driver's License
