Heavy lift rigger full time jobs

Essential Job Functions: + Assembles rigging to life and move various equipment and materials Major Duties and Responsibilities: + Selects cables, ropes, pullup, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved. + Attaches pullup and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole boom with bolts and clamps. + Attaches load with grappling devices, such as loops, wire rope, and chains to crane hook. + Gives direction to operator engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handled. + Sets up, braces, and rigs hoisting equipment, using hand tools and power wrenches. Qualifications Physical Demands: + Mostly outdoors, may include extreme hot or cold weather conditions. Physical demands may include climbing about machinery, climbing ladders, catwalks, and scaffolding, medium lifting (exerting 20-50 pounds of force frequently). + Strength rating - Heavy.
