THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES EDUCATION AND VARIOUS THERAPIES FOR THE NEW YORK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION. IT IS LICENSED BY THE NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT (SED). IT HAS A UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM (UPK), WHICH IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE EARLY EDUCATION TO CHILDREN FROM LOWER INCOME AREAS. ITS PRIMARY SOURCE OF FUNDING IS FROM FEES PAID BY THE NEW YORK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION(NYCBOE) FOR THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: SPECIAL CLASSES IN CENTER-BASED SETTINGS FOR PRESCHOOL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. INDIVIDUAL EVALUATIONS FOR PRESCHOOL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES SPEECH, OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL THERAPIES FOR PRESCHOOL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES.
