Phillips S. Baker, Jr., a director since 2001, has been our Chief Executive Officer since May 2003 and has served as our President since November 2001. He served as Hecla’s Chief Financial Officer from May 2001 to June 2003; Chief Operating Officer from November 2001 to May 2003; and Vice President from May 2001 to November 2001. He has also served as a Director of QEP Resources, Inc. (a leading independent natural gas and oil exploration and production company), since May 2010, as well as serving as a Director for Questar Corporation (a Western U.S. natural gas-focused exploration and production, interstate pipeline and local distribution company) from February 2004 through June 2010.

Russell D. Lawlar is a Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at HECLA MINING CO/DE/.

Lindsay A. Hall was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective July 18, 2016. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Hall was Chief Financial Officer for Goldcorp Inc. from April 2006 to March 2016 and also Executive Vice President from March 2006 to March 2016. Mr. Hall served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Placer Dome from November 2005 to February 2016. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Group Vice President at Duke Energy Corporation from January 2004 to October 2005 and also served as Vice President and Treasurer from June 2015 to October 2006. He was also Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Duke Energy Americas, of Duke Energy Corporation, from January 2005 to October 2005. Prior to that, from 1985 to December 2013, Mr. Hall held various positions with Duke Energy with companies that later became part of Canada’s Westcoast Energy.
