Job Overview:
The Mutual FundTrader will provide a high level of subject matter expertise with Mutual Fund, UIT, and Precious Metals products and operational functions. Responsibilities:
Supporting Advisors, clients, and internal business partners with trading inquiries which may include order placement, research, corrections, and systems troubleshooting involving trading products.
Assisting internal employees through knowledge sharing, escalation support, and ensuring problem resolutions are reached.
Participation in weekly team huddles and bi-monthly staff meetings to build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Building and leveraging relationships with internal LPL departments, 3rd party vendors, transfer agents, and sponsors to assist with escalations, improve processing pain points, mitigate risk to the firm, and safeguard against trading compliance violations. Acting as liaison for Financial Advisors who may raise inquiries regarding mutual fund/UIT prospectus or assistance with navigating LPL's trading platform and resources.
Identify risk, analyze procedures, and work with managers to resolve procedural gaps. When applicable, determine if a Technology incident should be raised for further investigation.
Taking consultative approaches to identify opportunities that increase operational efficiency and improve the Advisor/client experience. Coordinating with internal teams, mutual fund sponsors, and transfer agents for trade related issues/pain points and action said provisions to improve processes.
Work to ensure a positive outcome for Advisors/clients while also minimizing the possibility of a reoccurring negative experience.
Work through complex situations to understand the root cause of problems and determine economical solutions.

Develop and maintain relationships with high quality manufacturers and suppliers.

Service Azure Wholesale Team to handle customer demand through pricing and order fulfillment methods.

Maintain customer pricing on all commodity type Azure Market and Azure Market Organic products, with focus on Azure Market Organics as primary and Azure Market as to when products are not available in Organic form.
Understand the necessary documentation required for onboarding and maintaining organic products and the ability to review them accurately.
Works with the marketing team and other departments to maintain and supply product information and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Works closely with the logistics department to handle nonstandard loads to and from vendors and customers. Updating the warehouse receiving team with any special needs or instructions.
Ensure product quality throughout product development projects, obtaining samples and quality checks at the warehouse.
Closely analyze best international freight rates and develop relationships with several shippers around the world to ensure proper freight methods
Manage communications with domestic freight brokers on importation
Stay current on world's tax and tariff schedule to ensure pricing structure
Use critical thinking processes in all decision making
Apply SMART technique methods

Responsibilities
* Practice excellent telephone etiquette and active listening skills.
* Identify insurances for all new patients that require information/notification from the site for new, continuing, and observation patients.
* Document and track all communication with insurers, clinic staff, and patients.
* Document each step taken in the process of acquiring benefits, prior authorization, or confirmation compensability determination.
* Document pertinent information for therapist use in contacting insurance carrier if further authorization is necessary.
* Enters referrals with all pertinent information into Epic referral entry.
* Initiate process to establish company account for worker's compensation patients and all other insurances as needed.
* Informs patients/clinic/caregiver of denials by insurance companies when pre-authorizing services.
* Contact patients with insurance issues such as termed insurance.
* Develop a list of key contacts at insurance companies and develop positive working relationships to facilitate ability to retro-authorize claims and increase reimbursement.
* Assist in training new insurance staff
* Acquire insurance referrals from PCC, if required by insurance.
* Submit appeals to insurances for prior authorization, if needed.
* Incorporate new changes in insurance verification and adapt to changes in volume of workload.
Required Qualifications
* 1 year experience in insurance verification/eligibility, financial securing, prior authorization, or related areas.
