About the role:
As a Production Planning Intern, you will support the Global Instrumentation & Controls Operations Planning team.
You will report to the Manager, I&C Quality and Operations Planning and be located at our Warrendale facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will engage with multiple disciplines (production planning, product data management, manufacturing engineering, scheduling, and quality assurance) to deliver value to all partners
* Work with the production planning and scheduler to status progress in project schedules
* Collaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, planning and manufacturing engineering when issues arise
* Understand and employ applicable governing procedures
* Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
Qualifications:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Completed Sophomore year of college
* Understand material demand in SAP and potential impacts to schedule

Conducts functional, high voltage and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments

Job Description
Production Associates perform any type of general labor that supports safely meeting production demand while maintaining housekeeping throughout the plant. The work is performed mostly outdoors subjecting Production Associates to inclement weather such as snow, rain, hot, and cold weather. Some areas of the plant and assigned tasks will be dirty and dusty. Production Associates perform work such as shoveling piles of material, unplugging chutes, as well as cleaning up areas of the plant around crushers, elevators, and conveyors as directed. Production Associates are also required to assist in routine plant maintenance on planned down days. This includes helping with basic repairs and maintaining production equipment including patching holes in chutes and ductwork, changing screens, and cleaning out bins and ductwork. Must be able to operate mobile equipment such as bobcat skid steers, front end loaders, dump trucks, and vacuum trucks as required (on the job training is provided for all equipment). Ensure the plant areas meet or exceed all safety standards for SGI and all work is performed safely.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Shift worked is 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am Monday through Friday with weekends and overtime
Qualifications
Must be 18 years old and have a High School diploma or G.E.D. Heavy industrial manufacturing background or construction experience is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time, 40 hour-a-week, hourly position working in a climate-controlled environment that includes health and wellness benefits, bonus opportunities, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) retirement match with no vesting, and more.
Requires an ability to be attentive to details, maintain the highest standards of safety and quality, and a willingness to work together to execute daily production goals. Must be able to understand, speak and process basic instructions in English, in addition to performing basic mathematical calculations including counting, adding, subtracting and multiplication.
AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Production Associate - Industrial team position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or similar and at least two years' or more experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Other key areas of responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist in the production of industrial reagents according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Accurately label, package, prepare and store products for shipment.
Take ownership for the quality and integrity of components and finished goods.
Perform quality control tests to ensure product consistency and compliance.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Mobility and strength to stand, sit, move, bend, twist for extended periods of time.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
Physically be able to move 55-gallon drums in and out of stored area.
Visual ability includes close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Document production related activities related to ISO/customer/business requirements.
Attend job training related to production for professional growth and advancement.
Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as required.
Participate in continuous improvement activities helping to increase production efficiency, corrective actions, and work environment.

We are currently hiring an Early Shift Production Associate for our plant in Chambersburg, PA.
Our Production Team is vital to creating high quality farm fresh products that is distributed to home delivery and wholesale customers alike.
This position reports to the Production Manager and is anticipated to work Monday-Friday, 3:00 am-11:30 am, with some flexibility to help on other shifts (i.e. come in early or stay later) as requested by management. While in training, the start time will be 7am.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Interpret daily production schedules
· Read, comprehend, and follow standard operating procedures
· Safely operate and monitor processing equipment
· Ensure the Production area is clean, free of hazards and running smoothly
· Machine operation and product packaging
· Ensure that the correct label is placed on the correct product
· Ensure that the correct product is placed in the correct box
· Make sure that the printer is set up correctly with the right date code, and product description
· Help with tear down and cleaning the work area
· Complete end-of-day sanitation making sure the area is clean & prepped for the next day's production
· May assist with documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting as required by law and/or regulatory agencies, (i.e. FDA, OSHA, USDA, etc.)
· Assist in other departments as necessary, and any other duties assigned by management
