Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade, as follows:
GL-5/GL-7 $49,739 - $89,518 per year
Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR
A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

+ Complete a combination of classroom and field training to be certified as a motorist assistance operator.

General Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.
Responsibilities:
* Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
* Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
* Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
* Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.
* Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
* Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.
* Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.
* Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
* Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
* Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.
Other Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Possess Class C Driver License
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working operating a Loader is preferred

Sets up and operates a full range of conventional machine shop equipment, including lathes, millers and Bridgeport's boring mills. Setting up, programming, and operating basic CNC equipment to perform work involving moderate to routine set-ups and close to critical tolerances on various material types. Job Duties:
As a Research Farm Assistant 2, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:
* Operates complex farm machinery equipment such as tractors with loaders, brush cutters, and lawnmowers to till and mow areas around test plots. Maintains property and fences. Sprays fence line weeds, repairs damaged gates and fences. Provides maintenance to drainage ditches, mows pastures and lawns. (50%)
* Assists in planting various crops according to research protocols and timelines. Supports upkeep of experimental plots, including irrigation, weed control and soil preparation. Assists with cleaning, sorting and preparing harvested samples for research analysis. (40%)
* Adjusts and repairs farm equipment, lawn mowers, side by sides and tractors. (10%)

Scope of Responsibility:
This position performs production within prescribed codes, and according to prescribed procedures, specifications, and drawings. Must complete Welder Training Program. Must be able to pass and certify 3G and 4G FCAW welding test.
Essential Duties:
* Ability to plan, organize, pay attention to details and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
* Works Independently with minimal supervision once assignments or responsibilities outlined and delegated. Displays a strong sense of ownership for work.
* Flexible and Adaptable: Copes with ambiguity, change, and uncertainty effectively. Not hesitant to resolve lack of clarity, structure, or definition of outcomes then moves ahead.

* Knowledge of general safety guidelines and Sabre's quality expectations and application in the work place
* Manually positions pole assembly in pole rollers into proper position for welding.
* Reads and interprets drawings (including weld symbols) and specifications to ascertain proper location of attachments, as well as weld size and configuration.
* Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides feet, inches, fractions, and decimals. Uses tables to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions
* Adjust welding machines to achieve desired results within parameters of established welding procedures. Frequently pushes, pulls and lifts up to 50 pounds.
* Uses oxy-fuel torch to pre-heat parts to be welded in accordance with published welding codes and specifications
* Uses MCAW welding process to weld small components or assemblies
* Wears protective equipment, including safety glasses, insulated welding gloves, leather sleeves and/or cape, and welding hood
* Works in confined areas at various locations on the small pole assembly line as necessary to weld components described above
* Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
* Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill carious size holes on pole assembly as required by drawings and specifications
* Visually inspects his/her work to identify material discrepancies and to ensure that welds have been completed satisfactorily in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
* Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size, standard and metric
* Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules.
* When called upon, assist fitter in assembling pole assembly. Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finder to measure distances and angles
* Uses oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch for cutting steel.
* Operates assembly line conveyor system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on band saw and for fitting. Operates band saw for cutting tubular shafts according to specifications.
* Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
Position Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
* Basic Math skills required
* Must be able to read and write.
* Ability to read blueprints required
* GMAW or Metal Core Welding experience preferred
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying, and dragging heavy materials.
* Must be capable of bending, stooping, crawling under or over and occasional climbing of stairs/ladders heights up to 6 or 7 feet.
* Abnormal level of noise due to grinding, chipping, hammering requires hearing protection (ear plugs) be worn at all times.
* Must possess adequate dexterity and stamina to sustain expected production effectively.
* Must be able to work in fast-paced work environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials.
* Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.
* Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.

Can troubleshoot 3ph 480V systems.
Familiar with 3ph motors and motor control
Can troubleshoot control circuits (24Vdc & 120Vac)
Can read schematics, read basic ladder logic and knows how to troubleshoot Allen Bradley Control Systems.
Can run conduit and pull wire.
Can and willing to work on mechanical systems.
Pay starts at $28/HR and is negotiable with knowledge/experience
Hours are 6AM-6PM M-F with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Must be able to work OT, as needed.
