We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Laborer who performs tasks involving physical labor at underground utility construction projects, operating a variety of hand and power tools, and assisting in various construction-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in underground utility construction projects; performs manual work in preparing the site for the contracted scope of work.
Shovels dirt, concrete, asphalt, and various other construction materials into construction areas.
Excavates and fills trenches and ditches.
Maintains a clean job site: picks up and delivers all tools and equipment and secures the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
Performs materials handling and storage.
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman, safety director, or supervisor.
Work hours begin at 7:00 am.
Assist pipe layer, equipment operator, and foreman as needed.
Traffic control flagging as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
OSHA 30 preferred, minimum OSHA 10 accepted.
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Two years of experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
• Work is performed most frequently outdoors in weather conditions that vary from freezing temperatures to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions.
• Work may be performed in confined spaces.
• Some exposure to odors, gases, dust and dirt may occur.
• The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
• Lifting and carrying 10 up to 60 pounds frequently is required.
• Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Reaching and lifting overhead is frequent.
• Standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and reaching a majority of the time.
• Work may include manual labor up to and including hand digging.
• Some Saturday work is required. Sundays are rarely needed.

We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who will play a crucial role in operating heavy equipment with blade, bucket, and backhoe attachments for excavation, backfilling, and loading.
Responsibilities:
Operates heavy equipment (backhoes, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, trenchers, etc.) used in building construction, landscape construction, and utility excavation/installation/maintenance projects.
Observes and examines colored flags and ground markings indicating the location of underground utilities and structures.
Excavates to dimensions as specified by construction drawings, sketches, grade markers, and/or verbal instructions.
Performs backfilling and grading operations to specified grade. Loads flatbed truck, dump truck, or pickup truck with excavated soils or building materials such as stone, sand, aggregate, or asphalt.
Drives crew truck and tow trailer to transport tools, crew, and equipment to the site.
Performs preventative maintenance such as general equipment cleaning, checking fluid levels, lubrication, maintaining tire pressures, and changing implements or attachments.
Performs other grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of heavy equipment used in excavation, backfilling, and loading operations, including their capacities and physical limitations.
Proficiency in operating various equipment, such as wheel or crawler-type backhoes, large and small tractors, skid steer loaders, trenchers, grader blades, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, hand and portable electric tools, with the ability to excavate and move materials precisely.
Spatial awareness to understand your location in relation to the environment and the position of other objects.
Capacity to work safely and efficiently in the role.

What will I be doing?
As a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Job Description
One of the first faces of the guest arrival, and the last face upon departure, Fairmont Austin guest services is responsible for ensuring each guest receives a Warm Welcome and a Fond Farewell, as well as everything in between. Operationally, we are responsible for the delivery of Guest's to their room, luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the Hotel.
* Ensure that the Lobby and front entrance are kept clean, paying special attention to all glass areas and the main doors as well as anything left behind in the seating areas.
* Ensure that all deliveries for Guests and colleagues are correctly recorded and then delivered to the correct destination in a timely fashion.
* Maintain a presence in the Lobby when not delivering luggage to guest rooms, offering assistance to Guests, under the direction of the Guest Services leaders.
* Undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Doorman, as directed by the Guest Service Manager.
* Ensure all luggage is collected from guestrooms within the standard time.
* Ensure that all luggage is delivered immediately as instructed by Royal Service and placed in the room to the correct standard.
* Handle all Guest property with extreme care.
* To assist with room changes as directed by the Front Office.
* Ensure that all long-term Guest luggage is stored correctly and logged in the correct manner.

We are looking to hire an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team! A Survey Party Chief leads a field surveying team, ensuring accurate data collection for projects like construction surveys using various instruments and software. Responsibilities include supervising and training crew members, performing calculations, reviewing plans, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and producing accurate survey reports and drawings for clients and project managers.
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate the activities of a survey field crew, providing guidance and training to junior technicians.
Oversee and conduct construction survey and control network establishment.
Set up and operate surveying instruments like total stations and GPS receivers.
Collect and record field data accurately using data collectors.
Perform mathematical calculations and ensure proper reduction of field notes.
Maintain organized records of field notes, sketches, and data files.
Ensure survey equipment is in proper working condition through regular inspection and calibration.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to protect the survey team and other workers on-site.
Coordinate survey activities with project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors.
Prepare and review survey reports, maps, and drawings for project documentation and client presentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience as a Survey Party Chief or similar role in civil construction.

Strong understanding of survey principles and technical standards.
Knowledge of relevant software, including CAD programs and other surveying software.

Education: Minimum High School Diploma.

What will I be doing?
As a Starbucks Barista, you would be responsible for greeting and serving guests beverages and/or food in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities:
Install sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems
Applicants MUST have experience laying ductile iron/mechanical joint pipe with a Heavy Civil WTP/WWTP General Contractor
Lay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with the supervisor
Cut pipes to required lengths
Assemble, install, and repair underground pipe fittings and valves of various materials and sizes for storm drains or sanitation sewers, and water mains
Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Install equipment such as pumps, valves, generators, tanks, motors, shafting, conveyors, and rail systems
Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue
Measure, cut, and leak test pipes
Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices
Cover pipes with earth or other materials
Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
Train others in pipe-laying techniques

Must ensure a solid understanding of, and compliance with the principles of the company's Employee Handbook.
